Well, this is kinda more rock oriented - although even that’s pushing it a bit…that and the fact that half my band is dead…

I think I must have suffered a minor aneurysm or something because I could have sworn that you just chose a W.A.S.P. guitarist that isn’t Chris Holmes.

I’d let the voc plus the two guitars lead an 80s reunion which would be backed up by the technically impeccable rythmical remaining duet
Aha! another Nuno fan. I can’t stop watching that Guitar Wars DVD.

Yeah man he’s the best at inventing riffs. Never heard anyone having his fantasy and rythm. Love the guy.
Singer: Ian Astbury
Lead Guitar: Kerry King
Rhythm Guitar: Keith Richards
Bass: Flea
Drums: Carter Beauford
Producer: Mutt Lange, or Bob Rock if Mutt’s stuck in Shania.
Let’s see, you’d have the screaming, blood curdling lead of King paired with the bluesy Richards paired with the funk of Flea. It would definitely take a guy like Carter to hold that chaos together. And Ian? He just makes every song sound better.
Vocal: Rob Halford (Judas Priest)
Bass: Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)
Axe: Randy Rhoads (Ozzy)
Axe 2: Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath)
Skins: Lars Ulrich (metallica)

I have no idea what the fuck the result of this monstrous amalgam would be, but I have a feeling it’d be pretty damn interesting.
Vox was the hardest to choose because it would be the limiting factor on the band. I’ve been listening to ‘The Tragic Kingdom’ recently and decided on Gwen Stefani because her voice is awesome. Also, I think that a good rock and roll band needs sex appeal, something kind of lacking from the other members.
If I could I’d go for a revolving line-up, like ‘Faith No More’ back in the old days.
Hell, Mike Patton should be near the top of most people’s lists. [/quote]
Great line up,except for gwen Stefani. I think her voice is really annoying.
Easy. The supergroup is already completed and a band. Take the ex members of guns n roses, take the greatest frontman in the world, Scott Weiland of stone temple pilots, and presto, you get the greatest rock band in the world.
Basically, a Rammstein hybrid. I Like Doom Schneider from Rammstein’s drumming but I perfer Vinnie Paul to him due to the double-bass; in fact, call me a blasphemer but that’s why I like Pantera…Vinnie Paul’s drumming and Phil Anselmo’s singing.
I just happen to find that Till of Rammstein has that unique baritone voice as well as a greater range. Much as I respect Dimebag’s ability as well as guys like Angus Young and Dave Mustaine, Kruspe can shred or play ballads just as well.

This was exactly my list except for lead singer which would be Dave Meniketti who was lead singer for Y&T. Anyone remember them?
