That’s what i’m saying. People don’t realize how fast 4.3-4 really is.
Yeah, those are close to Olympic 100 meter speeds.
Track 40s and nfl 40s are completely different… combine goes off the when the athlete moves… track goes when the gun blows. Basically… meh

Lmao at most of these claims. Like posted before look at the nfl combine records. Everybody going in there runs a 4.3 40 and then they actually run a true 40 and get a 4.59 or something. Plus if you guys did actually run that fast you wouldn’t be posting here. You’d be playing pro ball.
I did. And I’m 45 now.

Haters gonna fucking hate.
Where’d you play ball?
Played part of a season professionally in Argentina, tried out for th4e then Charlotte Hornets, turned down the USBL and old CBA, played two summers of LA Summer Pro League, a few summers of Charles Baker Summer Pro League here in Philly and a few games in the Atlanta Summer Pro League.

Very Impressive

Ever see what happens to someone when they dislocate their hip or shoulder when they are not physically able to on their own?

260 now or 260 back then? Because back then I was a pretty solid for an offensive tackle (High School, but had offers to go D1 as an “athlete”), but I’m also 6’3" so take that as you will.

I dropped weight to go into the military, but ballooned up to 305 so I got pretty sloppy and am back down to 260-70 depending on the time of day.
Damn man you should have taken the scholarships if they offered. Football player, you would have been the man on campus.

You can’t take a scholarship if they renege the scholarship.

DB…DJHT…you see what I’m getting at with this 09’er shit? I don’t even know what this guy is fucking talking about.

Not really. I fucked up. Probably could have made the league if I did the right things, starting with going to college. If I could only go back…

Add half a second to the hand times posted & you would be much closer to the mark.

For those timed by a stopwatch retard the difference is even higher.

Most 40y times are suspect, probably inaccurate by half a second.

I’m track fast and never broke 4.6 with automatic timing.

How about 100m times? 10.71 here

So, I’m supposed to believe that if I was hand timed that instead of 4.7, it was 5.2? That is a big difference Retard Gonzalez. The average reaction time is .12 seconds, so at most I’d say add that, not half a fucking second, fucking gonzo.

Forties are exaggerated more than bench press weights. Numbers mean something, so the most accurate timing available should be used. This is why they have an NFL combine. Pro days often have quicker times than the NFL where they are very strict. Hand timing a 40 and quoting that is like having the bro spot on a bench that’s all you.

It takes 245 to 315, or 4.5 to maybe 4.8.

The average time is well over .12 seconds for a reaction. Charlie Francis commented in his book on Ben Johnson how Ben had an amazing reaction time of under .1 second for one start. One time this reaction caused him to foul when he actually didn’t.

If you ran the forty from blocks and was electronically times you might be 5.2. Hell, Ben Johnson was 4.35 or so under the same conditions. If you add in the coachs reaction to starting and stopping the watch, .5 seconds is not out of line.

DB, havent you heard? All men on the net have a 13" penis and a million dollar net worth.

Turns out, I need to sprint more often. A lot more often. My time yesterday was so terrible, I don’t even wanna mention it here around you Olympians.

What are you guys running from supercops that you got chased for 1.5 hours. The longest a cop ever chased me was a couple of minutes tops before I got near a fence jumped it and ran the other way. I don’t remember a single cop that even tried to go over the fence, maybe they did but by that time I was long gone. Most would just get back tothe cars and try to drive around hoping of finding me but that never worked.

It depends why they were chasing you. In DB’s case he had probably just slit someone’s fucking throat, so you have to factor that in.

In my case I got into a bar fight and ran the fuck out.

Actually, me and my friend were doing something way stupider and more juvenile. We were spray painting the side of a freeway soundwall, on the freeway side of it. I think I was writing “I’m going to slit their fucking throats.”

I honestly have no clue why they chased us for so long. And given that we were just a couple of teenaged punks spray painting random shit, I think the chase was excessive. We were in the northwestern section of Santa Clara County where there is virtually no gang activity (Cupertino/Los Altos area) and our white asses certainly weren’t in one. So it’s beyond my comprehension as to why we were chased by officers on foot and in cars for so long. I guess it was a slow night and they had nothing better to do. It was the middle of the week.

The way we got caught was bullshit too. My buddy had his fucking checkbook on him and it fell out of his backpack as soon as we took off running. We outran the cops to this overpass where there was a little door underneath and the fucking thing was open. So we went through it and kept running for a while.

Then we hid in some bushes, then split up and both got chased around for a while. When we finally made it all the way back to our houses, the cops must have gone back to the spot where they first saw us and found my friend’s checkbook because they showed up at his house at 3am with it and promptly arrested him.

Then he ratted me out and they showed up to my house an hour later. We weren’t friends after that. Moral of the story: don’t carry your checkbook around when you’re drunk and spray painting random shit.

4.5s consistently

4.46 fastest

college and arena football

ran from cops 12 yrs old while sneaking out and vandaling. Ran for about 30 minutes we all split up. Made it to my buddy house he did too. The other got caught about 90 minutes later and we were asleep (2 - 3 am). They ratted us out and cops picked us up…

You never played in college but managed to play that high a level? What else would you have changed, if you don’t mind me asking? I have hoop dreams so anything like this is of interest to me. Playing in Argentina sounds like it’d be awesome, what was that like?
