Your 5 favorite Boxers and MMA fighters

no, he just earned his ticket for a couple more fights doing them this favor.

Well, I haven’t followed boxing much. However, I have followed crazy. So, I’m going to go with:

Jack Johnson
Mike Tyson

Sad to see that most people’s MMA list’s are very “UFC”.

Shinya Aoki
Cung Le
Anderson Silva
Ken Shamrock
Fedor

I will give anyone who can arrange a fight between Cung Le and Anderson Silva 10 space rocks. If someone can locate Anderson Silva, put him in a cage, and fly him to Minnesota in the next several hours, Cung Le will be at my gym teaching a seminar. We will also need guns to force them to fight. Bring lots of guns.

That could be a great fight, but Cung has taken much more damage over the year competing in San Shou than Anderson, and at this point I don’t know how he’d do. A prime Cung vs Prime Anderson would have been epic.

If they fought now I think Cung might actually try to turn it into a wrestling match, as he’s a great wrestler (won the California junior state championship which is no joke) and would probably have the advantage there. I don’t know how good his submission defense is though, and Anderson is pretty slick in that department.

talking about Cung Le, i’m rooting him to show that Belfort is just Belfort who never can pull a decent winning streak against top competition

EPIC entrance music - Ain’t No Stopping Us NoW - McFadden & Whitehead.
Also claims to be able to Bench Press 179kg - who am I to disagree (Below). David Haye | Sport | The Guardian

He’s hard hitting (23 KO from 25 wins, 27 fights), lightning fast, and attacking/exciting.

What happened to Winky Wright?

Agreed! Although boxing can play somewhat of a big factor in mma.

My top 5 MMA Fighters no particular order:

  1. Anderson Silva- Almost unbeatable stand up game
  2. Jose Aldo- Some of the best leg kicks in the game, great all around
  3. Urijah Faber- brings the energy and the heart
  4. John Jones- very interesting/energetic fighter. very exciting to watch
  5. GSP- Probably the most technical and athletic guy in mma, if only he would use it more to go on the attack instead of getting decision victories.
Bonus: Jason David Frank(Green Power Ranger)- He is actually very good and also a lot of fun to watch.
