I have been ruthless in making fun of nuerotyping on this very site. Multiple times. And we practically had a jihad on Paul Carter at one point in respect to chins for the lats among other things. And these are coaches who have had their own forums. I’ve also personally pointed out several articles I disagreed with, like this one
I think this is what makes t-nation pretty awesome: there is no sacred cow, and everything is open to criticism. And hell, despite my mocking of some ideas from CT and Paul, I am a big fan of both dudes. I don’t think I could ever run any of CT’s programs, as they all don’t get with my brain, but he’s probably THE most responsive coach I’ve ever seen online, without a degree of snark or malice. Paul runs opposite for me: definitely high on the snark, but he makes so much goddamn sense to me. And I’ll make fun of both when they say something goofy, much like people will do the same for me.
