Young Guy in Need of HRT Advice

Hi All,

I just turned 21 this summer. In June I had a blood test done and found out my serum test was 300 ng/dl. Didn’t sound like a big deal to me until I happened upon some of Cy’s articles.

I had put on 10 lbs before and finally put two and two together and realized I was probably HG. Then the rest of the symptoms occured placebo effect or not. Life got shitty.

I had a blood test done at school recently and came in at 284 ng/dL. That was a good day. I made an appointment with an endo next Thursday and was hoping for him to give me this “setup” for my issues.

  1. 8 week cycle of Test Cyp
  2. 2 or 3 week cycle of HCG
  3. Then what?

I want to make lots of babies like Borat, so I was hoping the HCG could ensure this. What kind of dosages should/can/hope to expect? Do I need to worry about PCT? Should I get a backup dose of SERM/AI incase I get itchiness?

Thanks.

TMJ

Again Thanks!
PS.
I searched the forums but could not find a concise post.

Many of us here on TRT are past the point where babies are wanted. So fertility is not a need for some of us. This will limit responses.

I can’t see why HCG would not do the trick. And perhaps you will not have a need to cycle these things. Your liver will not need off cycles to recover from anything.

Many on HRT will not develop an estrogen problem. The only way to know is to do the TRT and then watch for effects as well as doing blood work that also includes estrogen levels.

The endo hopefully will be looking at other things to see if there are any causative factors that can be addressed rather than simply treating the symptoms.

At your age, I’d be more apt to attempt 2 things in lieu of T replacement:

  1. T- boosting supplements- Trib, ZMA, Avena Sativa, etc. ( at medicinal dosing)

  2. E-management- from 6-OXO to calcium d-glucarate

And then take the pro-testosterone lifestyle of rest, whole food, no alcohol ( better you than me oh fertile one ), big boy movements with adequate rest betwween workouts, avoiding overtraining . . blah, blah . .

Look up Poliquin’s YIN TONIC too . .makes many a pooped body bounce back

Replacement therapy at your age . .even with HCG invites already dormant production to grind ot a halt . .and you won’t like the long run . .

See both a Western Dr. and a Chinese Medicine focused Dr. as well. The Western Dr. will give you the results of your test then probably prescribe something. If you have a well educated and experienced Chinese Medicine Dr. you can either see or call that will review your results, they may have something to help you. You can always try

  • Supplements at a health food store
  • Frequent bouts of sun exposure
  • Ice underwear
  • And of course screw like a rabbit (preferably with a girl/woman of legal age and no dolls , vegetation, holes in the wall, or men…

Good luck at the Doctors and keep your balls cool!

LOL!

What is “ice underwear”?
