Deadlift…310*11…1 more than last time I picked up 310 ![]()

Washed down the Belgian dinner with this
Those deads look too easy. Why stop at 11? You could have done 22.
I enjoy your log for all of the culture it exposes me to. Reporting from Ireland (which often times reminds me a lot of the US east coast) while enjoying food and drink from Belgium.
You’re not the most interesting man in the world as that title is already taken but you do drink foreign beers like he does and in my book you are in the top ten most interesting men in the O35 section. Carry on my friend.
Great speed work on those deads.
Nice Deads, wheres the music?
I came in here for the food porn…, you didn’t disappoint!! Yum:P

I think my muscles could have done more, but my fat-ass heart was ready to explode!
I’m trying to keep my last set on the 5/3/1 to 10 or less as I’m thinking that may have been one reason my shoulder and groin as messed up. I want to push it and beat previous records, but I think if I can get more than 10 I probably have my training max too low especially on the 1 day of the cycle.

I’m actually heading into your Nation’s capital today to get my hair cut and buy some new ties.

Ha! It was so cold in my garage I had the music playing inside the house.
Should be some good food porn soon as I’m picking up a hog early next week. Pork hasn’t been on the menu in too long.
Food porn, food porn, food porn…!
Do you do your piggie in the dirt?

We used to do ours over a coal fire, OMG, I was a kid, and I can still taste it! Wasn’t too pretty when it first went on though…

I’m not man enough.
I get it cut to order and sealed for the freezer. Inch thick chops, et cetera. All the yummy organs!

I’ll probably do at least one shoulder on a smoker. Not at fun as the whole piggie, but as previously mentioned I’m just not that cool.
Week 8 of 13 week boring but big challenge. Rather than 5 sets of 10 the assistance is 5 X 5 at 80% of training max.

Now there are two bands I have not thought about in a long while. Have fun!
Nice lifting and highlight exclamatory descriptions.

She Say and I go see Cracker whenever they’re in town…Camper Van Beethoven isn’t a big favorite, but the show was awesome. The fiddle player was just outta control on fire. They’ll be in Boston, Philly and NYC later this week if anyone is nearby.
The pic is of a burger I had at Duffy’s tavern across the street from the 9:30 club. It’s a bacon cheeseburger wrapped in 2 grilled cheese sandwiches rather than a bun. Man…was good.

Sunday night dinner at Chez Say
That’s a bone-in ribeye, two t-bones and 2 filets. Rubbed with chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. My trusty probe/thermometer is in the near t-bone and the grey thing lets you know how mot my meat is.

Fire!
