Wow. That place rocks.
I’m jealous. Fantastic. You must have good karma!![]()
A rich guy that loves powerlifting, mma, and rock climbing decided to create a 90,000 square feet gym 12 minutes from my house and he opened it 1 week after my gym shut its’ doors, it’s like he came to my house and read my diary.
You are a strong pressing mo fo that is for certain.
That gym is fantastic, and I have serious gym envy.
Joe, JJack, Corm
Thanks for stopping in. Yes the place is awesome, but it’s so big that it seems like it’s never busy, they had a soft opening about 3 weeks ago, but the grand opening was like 10 days back and they already have about 1200 members, hopefully it stays open for another 25 years or so. If I can’t reach my goals here then it is all my fault.
Today
Squat- w/ups- with red band resistance- 315x3, 365x2, 405x1, 425x1, 435x1x1x1
Deadlifts- w/ups-- with red band double looped- 315x1, 365x1, 405x1x1x1
Kettlebell Swings- 40x10, 50x10, 60x10
Sled Drags/ Tire Flips- Too Long
Incredible gym. Great bench and solid squatting and deads in here.
Nice work in here.
I was looking at the pictures before I saw your write up and thinking something is wrong none of the racks or bars even have marks on them, they look like stock photos. Then I read it is a brand new gym, your living right to find it so close by right after your gym closed.
That prowler track looks dope! No lunk alarms going off in there!!
Wow. Sweet training environment. And that means we can expect GREAT things from you!
Yesterday
Bench- w/ups- 320x5, 350x3, 380x2, 315x8, 225x15
BBell Rows- 225x5, 245x3, 265x2
Pulldowns- weights x8x5x3x5
Pushdowns weight x8x8x8x8
Dbell Curls- 60’s x 8, 70’s x 8
Kettlebell Clean and Press- 50x5, 60x5
Sandbag Carries, Sled Drags x nausea
Now you need pictures of you in the new gym…double points if you are curling in the power rack.
I like the sled drag x nausea set/rep combination.

Enough said ! great workout, nice gym, wicked jelly! our gym has one power rack from 1980s
Corm,
I will supply some videos of me prancing around in the gym doing various exercises with poor form, crying, curling in the squat rack etc.
OG,
Thank you sir, up until this point I was dealing with an equipment shortage as well.
If anybody wants to see the gym (or use it if you are in the area) it has a facebook page “Pacific Health Club”.

That’s too manly a workout for crying!
Today
While I was lifting today the owner asked if I needed a spot, I told him no, if I get stuck I’ll just scream like a 6 month old baby girl, he then asked if we needed anything else in the free weight room (or Heavy Weight Room as it is called) I mentioned that a deadlift jack would be nice, he said thank you for the suggestion, on the way out the weight area manager told me they ordered one and it would be in the building on Monday. I love this place. I then proceeded to suck at weightlifting.
Bench- w/ups- 325x5, 355x3, 385x2, 315x7
BBell Rows- 245x5, 265x3, 285x2
Pulldowns- weights x8x5x3x5
Pushdowns weight x8x8x8x8
Dbell Curls- 65’s x 8, 75’s x 8
Kettlebell Clean and Press- 60x5, 70x5
I wonder if its too late to ask for some strippers to operate the DL Jack. That place seems like a wishing well that actually works.
