That is an outrageous statement! You are not really telling me that you compare the ancient religious traditions of the Middle East (mostly at the detriment of women) to a Christians view in the US, are you?

How did religion govern the affairs of government between 1776 and 1960? It seems that we did pretty well (here in the US for the most part) in those almost 200 years. How could we have done so well with prayer in school and the Ten Commandments in courthouses etc.?

Religion governed nothing! However, the moral tenets which the Bible stands for were respected. Even if the person was not a Christian there was still a solid moral foundation in which he could look upon. Remove that principal (as the courts are slowly doing) and replace it with nothing of value (as is being done) and a legitimate respectful society will suffer!

The current stripping of the Bible and of moral values from our schools and society can be traced back to John Dewey and his cronies at Columbia University. Everything you are seeing today is the result of someone’s planning many years ago. When these are gone, then you will see the rise of Fascism in America.
It is ironic how the liberals of today are preaching the ideas put forth by the extremely-wealthy elite. Dewey was funded at Columbia by this same elite and was there spokesperson. Fascinating!
