haha, it was my nickname at an old job I had a really long time ago. I figured it was as good of a name for on here as any.

Dieting’s starting to get weird now. Yesterday I must’ve stared at a cheese sandwich in the shop for about 15 minutes like “oh my god that looks sooooo goooooooood…”

Just a shitty, store-made cheese sandwich. Would’ve murdered for it though.

My wife once had to drag me away from a Pop-tart display at the grocery store as I was melting down about 9 weeks into a cut for a powerlifting meet.

ok, so Jade Teta seems to think that instead of brutalising myself with even fewer calories (which realistically I can’t actually do) and an increase in cardio that I can, instead, simply eat more and exercise more.

Needless to say - I’m slightly skeptical, but here goes.

Calories are getting a significant increase (carbs again - yay) and workout volume is going through the fucking roof. Weights workouts will be all rest-pauses, drop sets, short rest periods, etc., and cardio is going up from half hour sessions to 45 minute sessions.

Particular attention will be paid to delts, arms and upper chest, because obviously.

4 weeks of this will hopefully get me to where I want to be.

oh, and still no fat burning drugs as of yet. Probably not going to bother.

Caffeine before cardio is always good.

I’m off the caffeine. Have basically had to come to terms with the fact it’s just a hot cup of anxiety that spikes my blood pressure and cortisol higher than is necessary.

Haven’t had a cup in about 2 weeks. Super weird at first but I’m getting used to it now.

I’ve had to cut waaaayyyy back, have started using dandelion root as a substitute - more alkaline, liver detox, etc . . . not the same, but not horrible.

I also use chickory coffee (not really coffee, caffeine free, less acidic).

hmmm…what does @khangles do…Gifs…memes…being hilarious…I don’t know, pick your poison.

I’m trying just to get off stims in general, so substituting caffeine for something else wouldn’t really address the problem.

Trying to be a little more conscious of my heart health. No point in spiking the blood pressure for no reason.

Honestly not that different. I’m starting to think that instead of making me go from tired to awake, caffeine just makes me go from tired to tired and anxious. I’m not a morning person and never will be, but I seem to be able to power through about the same with or without the coffee.
