Guys who only watch the Superbowl telling you who the best team in the NFL is or those who wear a Yankees hat but don’t know thier record. For the most part those people are just following a trend and they will likely never understand the game/sport or get near as much pleasure out of it as a real hardcore fan would.
And the irony is that most of the outcomes are worked out in advance, to squeeze money out of the suckers.
Want to see actual competitive combat sport? Go to a high school/college wrestling meet.

Wait, wait, wait… so you’re telling me you think MMA is fake/rigged some how? I mean other than the occasional piss poor opponent thrown to Michael Bisbing.

After watching Brock ‘knock out’ Randy with that glancing blow to take the championship, is there any doubt? That punch couldn’t have knocked out my grandmother or even you, FI.
The only time its real is when guys have a grudge.
Haystack Calhouns’ fight were all real though. (LMAO at the suckers!)

HH, I know you do Tae Kwon Do or whatever, and I really do respect that art. But if it’s anywhere near full contact, you should know that some blows that don’t look they should hurt do fucking hurt.
I didn’t watch that fight, or any other UFC fight, but with those tiny ass gloves, every blow is magnified.
Vegita- you too.
All you other haters you only get half a bar.
Its not about Brock love or hate but blind nut-huggery-
Ok we can say fandom- something I have no use for
there is a difference with being a fan and being mired in fandom
think world of warcraft or MMA undergrond or sherdog nuff said.
the same Brotards who are involved in such nuthuggery are so quick with useless posts and advice.
they know how shit goes down
they know how “real” training happens and yes they are always expert
and always willing to advise
they also can Kick some serial azzs
And it just so happens for the most part, these little brotards that the bulk of their little T-Nation lives are spent in Get a life,SAMA, And rate my physique - not exactly pillars of knowledge
Usually, if not always have zero interesting input on training real or imaginary
call me crazy but I really come here to talk about training Yeah I make fun,
bust balls, get mine own balls busted, and crack jokes- but its different from being a brotard
This Is a strength training and bodybuilding site that happens to have some little
sub forums like get a life- just so the others stay “clean”
when BS trolls pop up in Strength sports they kinda get shot down.
go take a look at the steroids forum to really see what happens when people
start to spread false info.
they don’t do so well
Even Powerful Women they kind of rough on assclowns too.
There is a big difference between being a fan rocking out and an assclown spouting at the mouth.

LOL…well some of us “non-brotards” are about to busy with school as well…on top of training and teaching beginner’s classes. But I’ll still be around when I can to help keep them in check, kmc.

I think we should define brotard.
I take it to mean anyone who has no fighting experience trying to talk authoritatively on the subject, someone who illogically nut hugs, or a stupid guido fuck in an Affliction/Tapout shirt who thinks he can beat you in a fight at the bar just because he watched the latest season of TUF.
I’ve heard you comment on the Brock/Randy punch before and I’m here to explain why Randy was wobbled by it.
Randy has been knocked out a few times.
Brock was at the full extension of his punch with his weight behind it (280+). Think about how a pitcher throws a baseball. Would it be effective if he only had two inches to throw it, or if he could throw it normally? Think where the most kinetic power is generated in throwing a baseball, now think of getting punched on the end of that. Factor in Brock’s size and weight.
He hit Randy on the temple which is a sensitive area where nerves are near the surface of the skull. Remember how bad an “Iron Claw” hurts, maybe you don’t, but a temple shot is extremely jarring and painful.
Randy ate a ton of Brock’s giant hammerfists after the temple shot dropped him. Couture had a loose tooth after the bout and he was OK afterwards but you’d have to be an idiot to think that Brock wasn’t doing damage to him.

Big Boss!!!
Youve always cleaned up shop , busy or not…
we just need to get Donut and Xen posting a little.
Fall is always busy in my business, as for teaching I found it helped my playing-
being able to put body language back into spoken language was good for my thoughts.
the boys at one school I go to are lobbying for me to teach more, then the occasional class I do.
we’ll see.
I should probably go back to school myself- and learn to do something else for a living.

I haven’t seen them… apparently, they can only find the UFC threads. If you stay away from those like I do, you don’t know they exist.

He was immitating in post format what Hacksaw Jim Duggan used to do before and after matches. He would get to the top rope and give a great big HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!, and then stick his tounge out and to the side while doing a thumbs up and waving a flag or a 2x4.
