They are great for saving space - the bells themselves - the globes are giant I may need a small thing to stand on.

Then a hotel gym - well it got an upgrade.
My wife and son checked it out and for 20$ a month we joined.
I checked it out today
It’s actually kinda nice.

It has a smith machine
A pair of 45 35 25 10 5 so not alot
It has two adjustable benches
Hex head DBs up to 50lbs
selectorized machines
Leg press
seated ham curl x extension
Lat pulldown x low pull
Cable column trainer type thing
Some decent cable accessory handles
An ab crunch machine
Some baby kettlebells
Jump ropes med balls
Two tread mills
Recumbant bike
Upright bike
Spin bike
Two arc trainers
And some other random shit
It also has a large room to roll out stretch etc
Two different stations for pull-ups
One is an ab dip pull-up thing.
Even a dip belly weighted belt
Ab rollout things even a lame wrist roller

5’8 5’9 170 - we went to our complex gym.
I have wanted to train with my son all his life.
It’s different his age group - physical culture in the 70s and 80s was huge.
In the 90s I went to Russia and Cuba to compete ver different from gen alpha.
I did a very basic TBT with my son
5 min incline tread mill
10 mins foam and movement
He did not like the foam roll but hit into thr poses - movement to prep
A1 bw inverted row 3x10
A2 low incline press - 3x10
B1 goblet squat 4x8
B2 db RDL 4x8
C1 low pulley row 3x10
C2 db rear raise 3x10
D1 hammer curl 4x8
D2 tricep push down 4x8
He did 20 mins on the elliptical
He did really well.
He isn’t an athlete despite the Tae Kwon do
Core is zero - the other lifts like goblet squat and incline bench he did well
There are DBs here from 2 lbs to 50 and we sound some ranged that suite him.
It’d different this gen isn’t into physical culture.
And that’s ok.
I know the HS wrestling coach - we have trained together and exchange stories.
I went to his room 3 times and did coms clinics and ran a confirming circuit that the kids still talk about.
He has made overtures to my son - knowing who I am but my kid isn’t interested.
I can’t express how pleased I was to just train no pressure / teach him something and not ride him too hard.
He left the gym I did minor stuff

Leg press machine - to get good ROM is tricky it’s a machine.
Bike - just the past few sessions of bike have improved my fucked knee
