It also has a large room to roll out stretch etc
Two different stations for pull-ups
One is an ab dip pull-up thing.
Even a dip belly weighted belt
Ab rollout things even a lame wrist roller

I have wanted to train with my son all his life.
It’s different his age group - physical culture in the 70s and 80s was huge.
In the 90s I went to Russia and Cuba to compete ver different from gen alpha.

He did not like the foam roll but hit into thr poses - movement to prep

He did really well.
He isn’t an athlete despite the Tae Kwon do
Core is zero - the other lifts like goblet squat and incline bench he did well
There are DBs here from 2 lbs to 50 and we sound some ranged that suite him.
It’d different this gen isn’t into physical culture.
And that’s ok.
I know the HS wrestling coach - we have trained together and exchange stories.
I went to his room 3 times and did coms clinics and ran a confirming circuit that the kids still talk about.
He has made overtures to my son - knowing who I am but my kid isn’t interested.
I can’t express how pleased I was to just train no pressure / teach him something and not ride him too hard.

Ok the spin bike while more fun as far as cardio - not kind in the knee.
Push-ups and bw squats - always feel more spry and athletic after these.
The machine stuff is absolutely boring
But you get a pump and it’s relatively joint free.
The db filed I do and the other obese fir kettle bells I am leaner when doing them consistently.
They don’t take a lot of time and they are effective.
However they wreak havoc on the joints.
My elbows are always tweaked by high pulls and or cleans
Db rows getting 50 for 20 was anti climatic
I think I’ve done 120 for 20 lol
I’m glad I’m still not trying to do barbell stuff
I watch my knees and hips particular the rebuilt knee - that hip has some bone on bone and it tracks poorly - need to fix that
Also I have a scar on my left thumb that makes me spell like a 5 year old
