Thats nice lifting Matty. One day I’ll head up to NYC and we’ll have a few cold ones. My wife is pretty much insisting I see NYC at some point soon.
X 2 but only during football season. :)
This.

I mean what trouble could we get into at a football game?

Its not like we’d be seeing the Dodgers play.

Good lifting in here Matty.

Have you tried a seated DB Clean & Press - those are fun.

Nice work

that is allot of squat volume
dont put yourself down…
kayak row, hmmm do tell.

I think I can train some fridays in sept-
or I am in town this weekend- for the US open but off on sunday

Joe -some people ( my family peoples) are STILL upset at the former Brooklyn Dodgers
come up to NYC you can drink on the staten island ferry-

Great work. How do you like the Zercher’s?

james

Thanks Fischer, I have never tried those seated DB clean and press, well not on purpose anyway!

Kev…cool lets get together in Sept on a Friday…its still weird to me to drink on the ferry.

James…thanks man, I used to do zerchers alot but burned out on em, I got 315 up on em, for now however Im gonna keep it in the 5-8 range

ZERCHER baby. The kayaks are all the rage. I’ll have to give them a try sometime. I really have to sit down and watch all those videos through.

Yeah I watch’em when its slow at work, the kayaks are cool, I just dont seem to be activating my lats the way I should be. Im messing with the weight, it seems if you keep the weight on the lighter side it works better.

MILLIES

MP - 135/5 185/5 205/3,3 185/5 155/12
SS
SUPINATED CHINS 6X5 (30)

JAVELIN PRESS - BARX20

HS SHOULDER PRESS - 2PPS/20 3PPS/15 4PPS/12,7 3PPS/6

CS DB REAR RAISE - 30/20 40/15,15
SS
DB LATERAL RAISE - 30/12 50/10,10

BB SHRUG 315/15 405/9 315/15

DB ROW 80/10 115/10 125/5,5

HAMMER CURLZ 40/15 50/12,10
STR8 BAR CURL 90/12,12,12

NOTES: Feelin burnt out, may need a bit of deload next week, no matter what im not doing millies next week as Im gonna give my shoulders a break from them, the 205 even felt heavy, getting a BW MP of 240 is the goal, If I tried I dont think I could get my previous PR of 225 today. Other than that the chins felt better, I really think the pain had more to do with the way I have been sleeping over anything else.

taking a deload is probably a good idea… strong pressing either way matty. that looks like a legit shoulder day

Nice chins!

What is a kayak row? Never heard of them before?

Solid work. Nice to see heavy weights being used for shrugs. I always see 135 being used (and the bar is always behind the guy for some reason).

Sleeping wrong plays hell with my shoulders too.

james

solid work in here

Thanks guys I appreciate the kind words…

James I see that as well, I believe they are called Haney Shrugs, I have tried them before but it never felt right.

Dday Kayak Rows are all the rage now man get with it! It was featured on the indigo logs with prof x, they are pretty cool, its done with cables and the ez curl attachment.

Oh and I just received my boat load of goodies from FTS, new bands, wrist wraps, knee sleeves and a free bag to boot! YAHTZEEEEEEE!

New goodies…nice!

Could you modify some how and just use bands?

new goodies, yay!

I like the rows and also that cable rope combo of back stuff. (straight arm, kneeling/leaning back)

Nice millies once again. It just feels good to press over 200# over your head, doesn’t it!?

A couple of questions…

What is the “CS” on your “CS DB Rear Raises”?

Do you do your laterals 1 arm or both at the same time?

Looking strong! Keep after it!

I’ll be damn, those rows look pretty cool. Thanks.

Deloads are for shit.

A big ass steak, a little slap and tickle and a weekend of football will do you more good than nancying around with some light weights.
