I hear ya on the stress of moving when you don’t want to. I just did that last week and have been running around the last few days trying to tie up loose ends on the old place before it closes tomorrow.

Probably explains why I have so much energy (read: pent up frustration) when I get to the gym.

Yeah dude, I was just told the closing is next week some time, welll does that mean monday does that mean friday? Do I have 5 days after closing to leave? Its like speaking in fucking code to get a straight answer.

Matty, closing date AND TIME is written into the contract for transfer of title (be it by sale, foreclosure, or whatever). You can and should get that document, because if you’re late, the new proprietor has a right to get the cops to haul you out.

UGH, I certainly dont want that! I just want a set fucking date already, if its next wednesday fine Ill be out then but you cant just say next week some time, when I have been waiting 10 MONTHS TO CLOSE

Last time we moved we hired movers, best $500 I’ve ever spent, never going to move again but if I do it won’t be me doing the lifting. I feel sorry for the poor bastard who gets to move my gym.

Thanks bro, I actually rented a POD, where they drop off the storage container and then take it when your done, its a great invention, most of my crap is going to storage, until we find a more permanent place, which will mean yet another move FML

we had the baby in 2010 febuary I started paperwork to refi in November 2009
we just closed 3 weeks ago.

wanted to refi to renovate- and make the apt last for the baby.
needless to say it didnt work out.
