Cant see the vid, have to wait until I get home.
You know how after taking a week off working out, I mean doing NOTHING. That first day back you feel great, but get really, really sore quick. Yea that is where I am today.

Man, I feel ya on the ‘lots of shit on the mind’ stuff. It’s good to get in the gym and just lift though. Just puts you in a different place (mentally AND physically)!
PS: Looks like a clean MP to me.

Man what an effing wedgie I have in that vid…sheesh my beans are burning! My wife always tells me that, it doesent translate or even make sense in English lol![/quote]
That was the first thing I noticed! And then I noticed how freaking HUGE you are! Jeezy Kreezy Matty!! omnomomonom.
Ok, i’m back now.
I have nothing for you on the MP, having never MP’d a day in my life, but it looked professional to me. Anyways, that is one sick workout - by the time you were done your shoulders must’ve been cannonballs, babe. CANONBALLS!
Sorry you got lots on your mind. Moving will do that. Where are you moving to anyways? Let me know if you need someone to mind the truck. I’ll bring the D&D and eat donut holes while you go moving stuff ![]()
Nothing wrong with that. Looked pretty strict to me.
Nice work.
Nice work! Strong lift. And congrats on the PR!
Thanks Brett and Strick preciate it!
DJ - I know exactly how that feels, your surprised how good you feel after a week layoff and then BAM! DOMS for a week.
Ddot - Its such a release especially when you have stuff on your mind, I don’t know what I would do for a release if I didnt like it, probably nothing constructive.
Masch - Gonna stay in Shaolin for the time being, but I’m thinking I may go back home to Queens, possibly BK maybe stay in Staten Island, there also maybe an outside shot of Miami. You know I’m gonna hold you to that offer ! ![]()
oh and my wedgies are constant, work, home, sleeping and now lifting.
nice MP pr- nice work
the moving and stress thing I hear you.
same situation here.
Shaolin hmm the big question what are the schools like?
I LOVE BK but its so different from when I grew up there.
(thats Brooklyn for you outlanders, BX would be the The Bronx Shaolin is Staten Island)
we would have stayed in our apartment in Manhattan all 387 sq feet of it.
good school district but the 387sq ft thing was kind of a deal breaker.

No training today…hmmph
Had to start packing, moving soon, tackled my garage, I realize how much money I have wasted on collecting movie posters CDs, DVDs and Tapes.
CDs - Over 500 Whoops 1500 would make me off myself
Tapes - Over 600
DVD - Over 300
Movie Posters - Over 100 (WTF am I gonna do with these now?!)
OH and BOOKS OVER 500
FUCK OFF TECHNOLOGY!!!

DAMN
The press looks good bro. Was so hoping that hot tamale of your wife was in it though…
Lookin’ brickhouse big. Diggin’ the Jet green.
Kev - yeah dude the schools is the biggest concern, my wife being a teacher has a pretty good idea. For the immediate future (i.e. the next school year) we will be staying on the south side of the Staten Island, excellent area and school district. I have realized that the area may be a bit too suburban for me personally but definitely want my daughter to be safe and happy.
Git…CFAs? I think I might start using that.
Bulldog - Tell me about, a true waste.
Printski - whats up bro! thanks man, Im rocking my jet green in the hopes we play this year, so I can continue my love affair with the one we call Sanchize! Ill let my wife no you said that shell eat it up, shes on her way to Zumba as I type, she loves that crap.
MP looked clean to be bro. Think you’ve got that mental block whooped.
YAHTZEE!
I feel your pain. Nothing I hate more than packing for a move. And all the stuff/crap you realized you wasted time and money on is on full display, instead of outta sight where you tried to hide it…
AFAIK, the one major requirement for a “strict” MP is no bending of the knees. In the old days when the MP was a competitive lift, guys apparently got ultra flexible with their backs, bent way back and used a lot of chest; also there was some sort of hip snap technique where hip thrust was used; too much info?
DUDE! Some random thoughts for you.
Ripping it up in the gym is THE most awesome way to get the frustration out. But I’m gonna suggest that when you’re having one of theose days where you just gotta go balls to the wall… forget about upper body max lifts. Or maybe forget about max lifts entirely. Go for max reps for a while. You’re beating yourself up. Try to imagine how much fun life would be right now if you couldn’t train AT ALL because on an injury. Be smart.
Sweet PR on your MP. That 215 was very cool.
Sucks about the move. Sucks hard. I’m sending all kinds of positive karma your way. If any rainbows show up over the next couple days you’ll know it worked.
Crazy delts, man. C-R-A-Z-Y!!!
Dday - Thanks brother, all throughout my life most of my failures are mental, but this time I was wrong, a slight grip change and making the MP less of an OH press and more of a standing incline, is making a world of difference. Pushing the bar slightly out instead of directly over head has generated more strength.
PG - LOL! man you aint kidding, it showed how impulsive I can be with my spending habits, it is a sobering reminder indeed. I actually posed this question in the PL forum, and I believe VTballa showed a pic of what looked like Franco Columbu with his back so arched It looked like it would snap, FWIW I still don’t know why a lift like this cant be more commonplace in PL comps. I love the info!
Kent - Thanks so much my man, its really grating, especially since this isn’t a move for the better its a move out of necessity, but I tell my wife and truly believe that this bump will make us wiser and stronger. Once I get over this fuckstump of a move, I can get on with life once again…that is true speak sir, next week is my rep week, with lighter weights, and it is becoming very apparent that if I ever do get an injury due to my own ignorance I will be in a very bad way…
Jeez I shore can talk type alot!
Nice MP pr matty…good work
Thanks bro, starting week 2 of your DL program today…

Congrats on the PR, the MP looked clean. hate to hear it about the move. Moving when you don’t want to sucks ass.
