95lb Klokov press stapled you? Uh-oh…[/quote]

My grip width is middle fingers on rings, coincidentally the same grip as my squat. You have like a 300lb bench and 220lb push press, I thought you would shit all over the Klokov press lol

push press = shirted bench

LOL.

Strict press = 100lbs haha

Obliged.

Pullup - 5 sets

Front Squat

45 x some
135x8
185x5
225x2
(250x2)x6 (volume PR)

Still working on staying upright. Managed to resist it fairly well for the most part on the 250 sets.

Bench

45 x some
135x10
185x5
215x3
240x1 (paused)
260x1 (paused)
275x1 (paused PR)
225x5 (paused)

Klokov Press

(45 x lots)x2
(95x5)x2
105x4 (missed 5th rep)

Brought my grip in. Hands are now placed on the end of the outermost knurling. Still humbling. Will work at these in order to advance upon Mr. Parnell.

Face Pull - 4 sets

Decent session.

Oh wow… I’m actually stronger than you at something lol.

Lulz…well FWIW it was after benching, although that’s a bullshit excuse.

Figured out a couple of goals to shoot for: 500 squat and 315 paused bench by the end of the year. 600 DL by: whenever it happens, before HS graduation.

You beast you. I feel you’ll do it judging by your progress. Seriously keep an eye on records because your on to break some comfortably if your rate of progress carries on like this. 500 squat is like 25+lb over the 198 20-23 class record over here… and a stupid amount over for your age range I’m sure.

I’ll look into it. I might get the squat a little easier if I picked up a belt lol, but I’d rather do it beltless anyway. If it doesn’t happen in that time period (although I’m not going to let doubt sit on the brain this time) I should at least come damn close.

lol thanks, but I’m no big deal.

Yesterday’s session was postponed until today.

Low Box Squat

(BW x a lot)x2 (staggered with leg swings)
135x8 (boxers exploded lolz)
225x5
275x5
320x5
350x5
375x5 (PR)

Hard. Told myself to get it. I think that the form got pretty ugly lol. Might have to slow down a little bit with adding weight to these.

Zercher From Pins

225x3
275x3
315x3
370x3
400x1
435x1 (PR)

Good day.

Got the idea of throwing in heavy lat pulldowns; this gym doesn’t have a single bloody straight pullup bar, and instead has an apparatus attached to each cable station that includes a neutral grip with a normal rubber straight grip on each side that curves downward on the end. I miss mah weighted chins…pullups just aren’t the same. Lat pulldowns (underhand) will probably be okay for replicating it…you’d think that something as rudimentary as a standard, straight, metallic pullup bar with some knurling on it would not be such an elusive fucking thing in a place like this.

Solid work on those low box squats… 375x5 is no joke. What sort of depth is “low”? Below para?

The top crease of my hip is parallel with the top of my knee…aka what legit parallel actually is lol. That set sucked too; I didn’t get enough air into me on the last few, and thus wasn’t tight enough…I think it put a good bit extra stain on my back because of it. Something to remember to do.

Damn dude you’re killing it…btw, check the top of the power rack…may be a bar running across there you could do pullups on?

Nope…I could throw a barbell up over it, but last time I tried that I didn’t keep an eye on it an it came crashing down lolololololol.

W/U - Leg swings, few pullups, prying

Squat

45 x some
135x8
225x5
270x5
320x3
350x3
375x2 (racked it)

The second rep of 375 was kind of funky and was a pretty big grinder…contemplated going for the 3rd, but ultimately decided to rack it. I was going to work up to 395x3 lol. Still beat up from the stuff I did two days ago. No surprise there.

Snatch-Grip SLDL

225x10
275x10
305x10 (PR)
295x10 (had to reset twice lol)

Haven’t done these in forever.

Front Squat Hold

315 x 30 sec
(365 x 20 sec)x2

First time doing these…man they’re killer. I feel it a lot in my upper back.

I think I may have slightly strained my right hamstring. Did a few lying leg curls to sort of gauge it. Probably nothing.

Today wasn’t my day. Oh well. Next week.
