Felt like shit coming into it. Something wasn’t sitting right in my stomach and I felt nauseated, not to mention things weren’t really clicking. Shook most of that off by the time I got over 300 though. The 375 was the most noobish set ever; I bumped into the sides of the rack like a motherfucker walking it out and the bar was slightly off-center…but I got all of them to depth and stood back up, so whatever.

Tried taking 95, but it didn’t want to budge lolz. Went back down and did another set with the bar, and by that point my shoulders were pretty uncomfortable. Maybe I should have taken a narrower grip instead of jumping right into taking it collar to collar.

Taped my thumb and went DOH to give it a break, adding straps when I got to my attempts. I probably could have done without them for longer, but I’d rather just use the straps and not risk it slipping. Things definitely weren’t working in my favor today; bar speed was sub-par. I also got mega-trolled by the crappy batteries in my camera, which sucks because this was an epic lift. It stalled big time around my knees and took a few seconds to get over them, and then it took what was probably around another five seconds just to fully lock the fatfuck out. Honestly didn’t really expect to get it, but I was ecstatic to pull off a PR (pun intended) on what was an off day. Back was fried and I was shot after this.
Uploaded what little video did take for the sake of a combination of lulz and I guess for whatever credence it elicits, which is probably superfluous anyway in spite of you VOIDH-phaggots (you know who you are :P). With regards to it, how does the deficit look? seemslegit.jpg?

These sucked. By that I mean that they were both grueling and rather weak (not surprising considering the circumstances). Had no idea where to go with these; part of me wanted to back off, regroup and was worried about getting burnt out (lolphaggot) but another part wanted to push through and get something in. Pretty much sided with the latter, but I shaved off a few sets. This was the first time doing pauses in a while…they really make it a bitch to lock out.
