I did a few reps on bench with the bar to kinda prime myself for tomorrow I guess. Just tryna get some extra stuff in and get rid of some soreness.
May have had another rep on the 250, but it would’ve been a toughie. The 265 was a grinder and slower than I would have liked, but we’ll see what happens next week. I don’t seem to be actively driving back into the bench and pressing the bar away from me. May have to work on that.

Yes!!! Coming into it my legs felt kinda tired and the deads felt a little meh initially, but 365 was so fast that I just had to give it a shot, and I nailed it. This was my original goal: get 500 before I turn 17, and it seemed like a pipe-dream at times, but I did it. ME GUSTA

My birthday is actually in a few days. And let me tell you: one of the coolest things about hitting a 500 is that you can officially say that you’re chasing 600 now LOL. I’ll probably shoot for 550 before the end of the school year (getting a belt could help with that).

Wow! I felt stronger than ever on these today. Kind of odd considering lame benching. Got some pretty quality volume in on these. I also did sets of 5 - 10 pullups with alternating grips (primarily neutral) between each of these sets, which also felt good and fast. Definitely netted 50+ reps of quality pullup volume today as well.
Wanted to do more today, but I did get in the basic stuff. Would be a lousy day normally, but the assistance stuff went so good (feeelsgoodman.jpg) that is almost makes up for it.
