Felt alright, but I got adductor pain. Need to remember to warm them up.

Felt like going heavier on these…they’re always from a 1" deficit too, although I never state that.

Quite an improvement from last week. I like these.

Messed around with some snatches today first off…god I have no fucking clue how to do these. Anyways, came in for another one of those active recovery/access sessions…

Cable Adduction/Abduction - 3 sets (These take forever LOL)

DB Bench - (45’s x 20)x2

Landmine - 3 sets

BB Curl - (45x10)x3 lol

Light Pull-through - 3 sets

I did a few reps on bench with the bar to kinda prime myself for tomorrow I guess. Just tryna get some extra stuff in and get rid of some soreness.

Yes!!! Coming into it my legs felt kinda tired and the deads felt a little meh initially, but 365 was so fast that I just had to give it a shot, and I nailed it. This was my original goal: get 500 before I turn 17, and it seemed like a pipe-dream at times, but I did it. ME GUSTA

Great session; good drive and volume. This is a better Christmas gift than anyone could hope to give me.

Haven’t read all your log yet but… 500 deadlift recently… huge congrats!

That’s a pretty big short term goal of mine. I could probably just about hit a 485 now if I did no volume before hand.

My birthday is actually in a few days. :stuck_out_tongue: And let me tell you: one of the coolest things about hitting a 500 is that you can officially say that you’re chasing 600 now LOL. I’ll probably shoot for 550 before the end of the school year (getting a belt could help with that).

Benches didn’t quite go how I anticipated…should be good for Wednesday benching anyway due to this exercise involving less weight and CNS taxation (I think lol). 15 band pull-aparts between sets.

I was going to double the 255, but it felt super heavy. Today didn’t go as planned. Felt weak coming into it. Ah well, there’s always next time.

I was also going to rep my BW (210) as a little birthday challenge, but I skipped it since I was weak. But I’m definitely going to have to do it one of these days.

Reverse Grip Bench Press

Wow! I felt stronger than ever on these today. Kind of odd considering lame benching. Got some pretty quality volume in on these. I also did sets of 5 - 10 pullups with alternating grips (primarily neutral) between each of these sets, which also felt good and fast. Definitely netted 50+ reps of quality pullup volume today as well.

Wanted to do more today, but I did get in the basic stuff. Would be a lousy day normally, but the assistance stuff went so good (feeelsgoodman.jpg) that is almost makes up for it.
