What’s your best zercher? Maybe lowering the weight and upping the volume a little may be a good change of pace. Either way 300x3 is pretty kick ass, seeing as you DL the weight up first.

PR is 315x4. And yeah dude, I’ll probably lay off for a bit because I’m focusing on deadlifting. Today was a weaker day. Meh, go figure. :stuck_out_tongue:

Nothing wrong with focusing on your DL. Er actually there is, I still need to catch up to you lol. So maybe you should consider a specialization program for tricep kickbacks.

240 didn’t even fight me. Hardly felt like ME work. All work-sets felt great and really fast. Could’ve hit 255 today at least, but I didn’t really want to rush things, so I called it quits here; the goal was to do 240 and just 240.

Was getting kinda late, so I decided to wing it and superset accessory shit…

Neutral-Grip Dumbbell Press —SS—> Machine Row

65’s x 12 ------> 185x12
75’s x 8 ------> 205x8
85’s x 5 ------> 225x5

That’s all for today. Benching helped soreness in adductors by stretching them out and stuff. Great day. Feeling fresh for ME deadlifting.

240 stupid easy? Says the guy who thinks his pressing sucks. I take it you’re not really doing 5/3/1 anymore.

Yeah, I stopped 5/3/1 a while ago. I’m basically making this up as I go along…ha, ha…

Didn’t even budge the 435. Stuff felt harder than I anticipated. One thing’s for sure: no more touch and go deadlifting; it totally deluded me into thinking that I could pull more than I actually could; I wanted 455 today. :stuck_out_tongue: At least I’m getting four plates in my hands on a regular basis now. Going to work in deficit pulling and see if it helps. Gotta get that 500 by year’s end.

Afterwards I did a few SLDL’s w/ 225 (tried a sumo stance), some upper back and bicep work, and more BW reverse hypers.

Nice pulling man! I’m sure in a month or so you can hit 435, now that you know you can pull 415. Btw i’m jelly of your pullin’

thanks dude. It’s a little disappointing since I expected to be able to pull 455 for some reason, but I got too greedy. Short term goal is pulling 465 by September.
