Any router with four stars or more should work well for the OP. Someone brung up two good single player games in Ninja Gaiden II, and Devil May Cry. The story is awesomely hilarious, and the graphics on those two are of an extremely high caliber. If you manage to get online soon Reborn you should consider Halo 3 as your first online buy. Just add people here and fuckin freak out online. Halo is by far the best online experience I’ve ever had, and that includes IM, myspace, and maybe even just internet surfing. Good luck in getting your game on, and AWESOME thread.
Edit:
Amazon.com, or new egg will help you pick the right router, and amazon has the 1yr live subscription card with a 1 month for 38 bucks which is a steal. I also saw a couple of pics of mirrors edge(someone mentioned it earlier), and it definitely looks kinda cool.
OMG. Halo 3 was my second 360 purchase and my first Live. I’ve never spent 8+ hours playing video games, except for that time I played MGS2: Sons of Liberty beginning to end.

I generally only play multi-player games as a find single player boring with the exception of Half-Life 2 (which i played on PC).
I am thinking of picking up fable 2 is it necessary to play fable 1 or are the two stories not connected?[/quote]
I just bought Fable 2, kick ass game. You have to have a specific taste for it though. There are some vague references to the first game, but nothing that you truly need to have played the first for. (Of course, I’ve only had the game for 2 days now though).

…Oh and if you haven’t done so yet Pick up Call of Duty 4. It is an absolute must play.
I’d hold off on that until the next Call of Duty is out.
I understand your logic but 4 is the only Call of Duty that is set in the present. The new one is another game set in WWII. Plus the game play is smooth and the story is great. i wouldn’t suggest anyone miss this game.

New one is made by a different company, I’m going to wait on reviews for it. This other company generally makes the lesser games in the series.

Is there any trial for xbox live, because I think I will get it for christmas…but test runs are always good.
I’m picking up my Fallout 3 Special Edition pre-order today. I’m going to skip my last class at school to get it so I can play it before work (also, I have about 36 ounces of meat to grill too). I can take of the lunchbox of joy if you all would like me to.
Also, I put down money for Resident Evil 3 SE. It’s going to be fucking $90. It had better come with a DVD, a soundtrack, a figure, etc. to make it worth it. Once they announce what all comes with it, I’ll decide whether or not to keep the SE or go with the regular edition.

You can buy different lengths of live and if you like it you can always extend.
There are usually trial codes for xblive inside most game purchases so check your the boxes that hold your games and see if there are a couple of trials. You will like it no matter what so I wouldn’t bother with a trial though.
When your looking to buy a full subscription look on Ebay. it is usually
$20 cheaper than the regular cost I got a year subsription for 30bucks. After I won the auction the code was emailed to me that day.
