Rowing Machine
ramped up in 3’s to 210, then went to 140 and did 6. about 10 seconds of rest between each ramped set

define “ramped up”

Increasing 10lbs a set, from 30lbs to 210lbs, 3 reps every set, 10 seconds in between. Thats exactly what i did

I understand it’s pretty normal for your squat to build itself, but the other lifts might need some more assistance work.

I don’t know enough about the texas method to know where you would fit the assistance work in, but 70sbig has an ebook on the texas method that I hear good things about. If you have the cash you might want to pick that up.

Also, you’re trying to set a DL 1RM each intensity day right? Maybe you should set a 5RM plus a few backoff sets or something? I don’t know, I just think you’re not giving your body much stimulus to adapt to heavy deadlfits.

Mm… Im not really sure man, I wanna switch to 5/3/1, but not untill i’m done progressing my squat, cuz i think texas method can take me to a 405 squat by july.
