Kay had a crappy workout, felt tired, today just wasn’t my day, and I couldn’t use the squat rack…
Deadlift: 175x3x1 , 170x5x1
RDL: 255x4
Grip was brutal today… I used the hook grip for my deadlifts but not my RDL cause it hurt so much, gotta get used to it still
Had yet another brutally shit workout today… hit 1 PR though
CG Bench: 195x0, 190x0 …
DB Bench: 60x7
DB Row: 65x17 PR +2reps
Two bad days in a row is telling you something. You eating and sleeping enough? Sick or stressed?

Sleeping enough yes, been eating at maintanence because I’ve been mega busy … exams are next week so I’ve been stressing, mostly over my law exam… I plan on going into more of an accumulation phase for the next 5 weeks though so should be a little easier…
Alright so today was weird… I squatted 135 for 1 rep and it felt super heavy… and then i said “HEY LETS BREAK MY OLD SQUAT PR BY 10LBS” and failed. twice.
Squat: 270x1, 290x0, 290x0 … I was determined but it wasn’t happening… I got out of the hole, got my hamstrings above parallel to the ground… and couldn’t pass that point
Hyper extension: 35x3x12
Seated leg curls: ?x3x15
-Random back stuff-
Idk why I didn’t go for a triple like I planned… I just thought I could grind out a 10lb PR. but now I know where my sticking point is, I think I’m going to do a lot of semi-sumo RDL’s for assistance and Semi-Sumo deadlift for my next ME
Kay pretty good workout I guess, nothing amazing to be honest
Bench: 100x20x3 in about 11 minutes
OHP: 115x3, 95x8, 75x8, 45x8
Pullups: bw 35x8, bw 45x6, bw x3
whats up with doing OHP 115x3 then 95x8 etc? Did you happen to feel like doinng pullups with weight today?

[quote]Macmade wrote:

yeah pretty strong, I can do pullups with more weight than him but he barbell rows 2 plates for reps
20 sets of squats and deads will be the end of me… jesus
Squat: 145x20x2 in 11:46
Deads: 155x20x1 in 7:54
-after this I was dead…-
I decided to fool around with sumo stance goodmornings and did
95x5, 115x5 and 135x5, I could’ve done more but I was done after those squats and deads… My conditioning sucks nuts.

Is it more of a problem for stamina or endurance?

Well I always thought muscle endurance is different from cardiovascular endurance or stamina. XArena is not very good at distance running, wondering if that had an effect on doing 20 sets of light weight.

Probably did have an affect lol
the words stamina and endurance are usually interchangeable.
i think what you refer to as muscle endurance is akin to sprinting, and cardiovascular endurance is akin to distance running?
anyway, fuck running for distance. that’s training to run a certain pace.
train for “muscle endurance”, your ability to recover from work goes up and so does your tolerance to activity.
yes, that’s an answer to a question you didn’t ask but you’re welcome anyway.
