Surprised no one else mentioned this… Anyone else stay after the credits? How cool was that?
You do know that if you’re joking someone will hunt you down.
I know, I’m tempted to go see it again just to check it out. Curiosity faillll!!!

I stayed past the credits and didn’t see shit. In fact, half the audience stayed thinking it was going to be like most Marvel films lately in that6 regard.

I could have been home by the time I reached the black screen.

Thank you.

So I’m guessing the devil looking guy banged Mystique and then we have Nightcrawler?

I thought it was cool but was missing something as is the story with all these comic book movies.

Emma Frost was no slouch either.

Movie was good, not sure how I felt about the mystique Professor X relationship though. Banshee was bad ass and so was azazel. Did anyone else laugh that the black dude died. Token black dude gone and hardly remembered.
I was disappointed when they killed off Dawrwin. I really wanted to see what he could do in a ‘real’ fight.

Ironic that he was named Darwin and was the first mutant to die.

Fuck black people.

Wtf?

not as good as the 1st 2, but decent. Kept me entertained.

Nazi Kevin Bacon
Do you think he’s really fluent in German, French, and Russian or he just sounded that way? Reminded me of the guy in Inglourious Basterds…
I doubt he is. But he pulled it off pretty damn well. Reminded me of an old teacher at school -creepy as hell.
He also looks VERY much like Jim Carrey as he ages. I thought it WAS Jim Carrey and had to do a double take…

Ditto!!!

Just saw it and thought it was pretty good but like others, not as good as some claim. I also had a few problems with it, but enjoyed it overall. My two biggest problems were actually Banshee flying with Havoc and Xavier becoming paralyzed when he walks in the Wolverine movie. Being that this was a prequel, not a reboot, I was disappointed it went that route. But I definitely don’t follow the comics so not sure how close it stuck to that.

In all honesty, I had no problem with the week training. We knew it had to be rushed, these kids all seemed at least around 18 so they’ve had these powers that long, and doing something constantly for 7 days under the tutelage of someone who can literally get in your head meant good results. And which of their powers was so advanced it was unbelievable? Anyway, interesting reading what you guys thought. I’m looking forward to more.

Banshee flying with one hand while holding someone with the other is where I just can’t let them pass. They win because of how they treated the Magneto character…but that will stand out as one of the most nonsense moments in Marvel movie history…next to an un-funny Spiderman.

I’m gonna have to agree…and the fact that he didn’t break the guys ear drums?

That is absolutely correct Marvel had this lame angel mutants and devil mutants storyline a number of years ago I stopped reading X-Men after that.

I agree. It was a lame storyline.

Both Moira McTaggert and Banshee were supposed to be Irish. Not to mention that Moira was already an expert on mutant genetics and not a CIA agent.

can i just say i would have no complaint if Rose Byrn was in everything i watch from now on

So the director actually planted his seed in January Jones?

And Magneto bangs Lenny’s daughter?

Black light! Mutant fluids everywhere!
