Wolverine and the XMen, next, although on Marvel, there are other series as well. Ironman looks compelling.
Which IronMan? The animated movie that came out about 2 years ago was decent even though they strayed from the “ten rings”.
I am thinking they are beginning to realize their audience isn’t just little kids.
On that note…listening to the director’s commentary of Wolverine:Origins…they cut out a shit load of gore to make that movie PG13…like when the old lady got shot in the back while they were in the barn (right after he got the ademantium). The only reason she is holding iced tea is so they could show the bullet going through her with no blood.
I want an R rated Wolverine movie.
You actually bought the DVD to Origins? Wow you are a brave dude. I cannot express my level of disappointment with that movie. Did they atleast have decent deleted scenes?
I got it on blue ray and it is way better than I remember it in the theater. I was disappointed as well in the theater…but after watching it again, I think I was just too hyped up for other movies coming out around that time…plus Batman was so fucking huge that anything less kind of paled in comparison.
Having deadpool’s head get cut off…and then seeing him find his head again after the credits roll so he could put it back on his shoulders to heal was cool also. I guess these dudes just can’t die.[/quote]
I guess what really ruined it for me besides them making Sabertooth his brother. Was the fact that I saw Hulk vs. Wolverine right before i saw this movie. Wolverine in that Hulk vs. was savage and cut dudes up. The movie wolverine was a kinder gentler dude that I just couldnt get into. Its a sad day when a cartoon has waaaay more blood than a movie of the same character.
