Which IronMan? The animated movie that came out about 2 years ago was decent even though they strayed from the “ten rings”.

I am thinking they are beginning to realize their audience isn’t just little kids.

On that note…listening to the director’s commentary of Wolverine:Origins…they cut out a shit load of gore to make that movie PG13…like when the old lady got shot in the back while they were in the barn (right after he got the ademantium). The only reason she is holding iced tea is so they could show the bullet going through her with no blood.

I want an R rated Wolverine movie.

You actually bought the DVD to Origins? Wow you are a brave dude. I cannot express my level of disappointment with that movie. Did they atleast have decent deleted scenes?

I got it on blue ray and it is way better than I remember it in the theater. I was disappointed as well in the theater…but after watching it again, I think I was just too hyped up for other movies coming out around that time…plus Batman was so fucking huge that anything less kind of paled in comparison.

Having deadpool’s head get cut off…and then seeing him find his head again after the credits roll so he could put it back on his shoulders to heal was cool also. I guess these dudes just can’t die.
I guess what really ruined it for me besides them making Sabertooth his brother. Was the fact that I saw Hulk vs. Wolverine right before i saw this movie. Wolverine in that Hulk vs. was savage and cut dudes up. The movie wolverine was a kinder gentler dude that I just couldnt get into. Its a sad day when a cartoon has waaaay more blood than a movie of the same character.

Just rent the DVD. It’s “Hulk Vs.” and has “Hulk Vs. Thor” and “Hulk Vs. Wolverine”.

Both fairly violent. Wolverine repeatedly stabs Hulk and there is blood.

I’ve watched it twice since I bought it and I think that was one of the better decisions they made (sabretooth being his brother). They had to make the movie PG13 and “kid friendly” so I am not surprised now at the lack of blood in it. Cartoon blood is nothing like watching someone’s arm get ripped off on screen…especially if surrounded by 9 year olds.

But on some level I agree…I went into the movie expecting adult level violence and was let down by how clean they made it.

I am not sure I can blame the director or the cast for that though especially after hearing the director’s commentary.

Just wanted to point out, Hulk vs Wolverine became Wolverine and Friends half-way through it.

I don’t know if I’d call it “Wolverine and Friends”, maybe Hulk Vs. Wolverine Vs. Weapon X.

I actually liked the Hulk Vs. Thor one better.

Quick question. On Marvel.com is there a quick reference to season 4 of X-men: Evolution or is all the episodes spread over the site?

Thanks.

They’ve uploaded the first episode of season 4 onto youtube.

Just finished the 4th season in one day. The final episode was great. It would be cool to see the later years of X-men: Evolution. Anyone want to give suggestions to a new series to watch?

on the 90’s version, while many fans say it was one of the best, that show sucks now. If you have watched it lately, the animation was possibly the worst EVER…and I mean in just about any cartoon I can think of. The story lines were also pretty flat even though it did stick to the comic book format closely.
Just throwin it out there the 90’s one comes on from 4-5 mon-fri on one of the Disney channels. At least up here anyway.

As stated before Legion of Superheroes or Spectacular Spiderman
