A question; why would Magneto consider Omega Red a “pawn” and have him in the first rush? From what I remember, Omega was pretty rough on Wolverine a few times.

Hell, why would he leave someone who looks like Mystique lying naked on the floor and not take her with him and at least use her as a human sex slave?[/quote]

BAM!

amen.

I’ve been watching the cartoon Xmen:Evolution (again) and it’s just another version of Xmen, I like it, kind of neat to see Gambit as a bad guy. Rogue’s powers are pretty much like in the movies only able to absorb powers. In one episode Xavier tells the Xmen that he saw some of the future and tells them some of the heroes become enemies and some enemies become heroes and some just leave on their own. I saw that Gambit became an Xmen. I look at these films as just another take on Xmen, if you look at it as an alternate universe thing it may make it easier for us comic loving group. I love all the geekiness you people bring to the discussion, you bring back a lot of memories.

According to Marvel (MarvelDirectory.com) Leech can sap ANY kind of superpower, not just X-gene related superpowers.

"Leech is a living “power dampener” who causes the cessation of power in other living beings with superhuman abilities, mutant or otherwise. The superhuman powers of such beings cease to function within a certain radius of Leech’s whereabouts. "

I remember that cartoon, it had its moments but for the most part I thought it was disappointing. Nowhere near as good as the one that use to come on Fox. Boy they don’t make cartoons like they used to, and they just cancelled Justice Leauge: Unlimited, damn dumbasses…

HOW CAN ANYONE SAY THIS WAS BETTER THAN X2? SERIOUSLY HOW? The storyline was pathetic. You all must get fascinated by simple things if you thought this heaping pile of dogshit was fantastic. Really what was it? The fight scenes? The special effects? I would like to know what did it for you.

Well, on second thought, I assume those who are raving about the movie did not follow the comic books, because comic book fans would realize what a dissapointment this has become after X2. I mean come on, are all of you the same thick meatheads who thought Jean Claude Van DAmme movies along Steven Segal movies were any good?

Great post. Can you do anything besides bitch?

well seeing that you are a fan of racing I won’t take that too personally. ROUND AND ROUND WE GO!!!

I am in total agreement here, I love the x-men so I take what I can get

This is the info i gathered from it, some of this info is from people I know, but it seems possible.

“there are alot of theories going around the net right now about the X men movie. The general concensus is that none of the main characters actually die. We never see Scott actually obliterated, we just get a weak explanation saying he’s dead. People are saying maybe Jean Grey coccooned his body during the blast, thus saving his life. And since we do never actually see “The Phenoix,” many people are saying she never really did take the form, and maybe the phenoix will arrise from the grave in the next x men series(which fox already said they’re doing). All in all, this just goes to prove that X men 3 was kind of just a waste of time and doesnt really do anything but messes with the whole mythology of characters and pisses off all the fans to the point where we’re making up these vague outlandish statements, just to try and keep the characters around. Hoefully fox learns their lesson and takes their time from the next trilogy.”

ALSO:

" >“Yeah, the studio didn’t even know I did it,” Ratner told Superhero

Hype. “I didn’t even put it on the schedule. I shot in between set-ups,
just went over there and shot it, and then I showed it to the studio and
they went ‘Oh My God, we love that!’ because it keeps Xavier. Look, in
the last one, Jean Grey died and then I saw her on the first day of
shooting X3, so nobody dies in these movies? What the hell are they
talking about?”

“I was aware of three endings for this movie, all under different
circumstances,” confirmed Patrick Stewart when asked about it. "There
was the ending in the script, which we all saw. There was a scene, which
I shot in the hospital bed, in the first days of filming. It never
appeared on paper, there was no call for it, it was never documented,
this scene. It never got shot. In other words, we sneaked it in after
lunch one day and there were not many people on the set. It was a
cut-down crew, and it was all done very hurriedly because they stuck a
beard on me over lunch and we shot it. Then Ian [McKellen] called me a
few weeks ago and said, ‘You won’t believe this but they’re coming to
London and they’re going to shoot the final scene of the movie,’ which
is of course is of interest to me. He said, ‘I’m playing chess’ and of
course I wanted to know, ‘Who with?’ and he said, ‘They won’t tell me’
but of course there’s no one there at all. Last night, when I sat down
to watch the movie for the first time I had no idea how this was going
to be resolved. We were all on our feet leaving during the credits when
someone from Fox said, ‘You should sit down. It’s not over yet.’ I
couldn’t imagine what that meant and then sure enough, there was this
little hospital scene, which is hinted at in the video I play in the
class, about a man who had terminal cancer and you can transfer
somebody’s consciousness into him. Something I missed last night is that
Olivia Williams, who plays Moira [McTaggert], is in the memorial scene.

This seems to support that the Prof is not really dead. What do you think of this possibility?

We already know he’s not dead. That scene is shown after the credits roll.

Yeah I heard that from others, I wish I stayed to the end of the credits.

You didn’t miss much. I could’ve worked out, eat and take a shower while those credits rolled. Last Stand my ass, with the $$ this shit racks in they’ll have sequels flying out like pancakes… I love pancakes.

“Click, click, bloody-click, PANCAKES!”
Those credits were long as Hell.It was time to shave my head again by the time the last scene came up. BTW?, did anybody see THE PHOENIX’s name in the make-up credits?

I saw it last night. I liked it, but I thought 2 was had more action. However Jean was looking hot as usual.

And yes, I look for another sequel too.

Gotta love Stewie! He and Brian, my two favorite characters.

I think I liked X2 more than X3, but all 3 of the movies were great.

One thing that really pissed me off was seeing Jean (Famke Janssen) walking through the underground tunnel or whaterver after she had made out with Wolverine (I think this was after that scene) and she was walking around in little booty shorts, it really directed attention towards her long, undefined and out of shape legs.

It was pretty gross becuase I wanted to have the impression that she had a great body etc. But clearly they wanted to show off her nasty legs and that really ruined a large portion of the movie for me. Major dissapointment, the directors should have more sense/decency than to turn the spotlight on Famke’s yucky legs like that.

I firmly believe that Rebecca looks better with black hair after seeing that scene.

By the way, how dumb is Magnetto for dumping Mistique(well, he realized it after he lost his powers). Because as it was obvious the antidote would diminish over time. So she will regain her powers and he lost a loyal ally with excellent capabilities, among other things.
