WSSB Question

i dont think u understood my question…

lets say last week i did this:

45x8
75x5
95x5
115x5
135x5
165x5
175x4
185x3
190x3

and then this week i want to do 195x3 for a new 3rm…should i still do the 190x3 set and then try my new 3rm?

I would jump right to 195 from 185, or even something more like 180.

I, personally, prefer fewer sets working up to a PR once I’m warm.

Exactly just like I said “no” LOL go for the PR bro. Jump right up there that set at 95% plus will; effect the attempt at the new PR

then where does “the stronger u are or get the more warm up sets u do” how is that ever going to be possible if every week i mgoing to have the same warm up sets but only my 3rm is changing?

i add the pounds improvement to my warm up sets except the first one

Your adding 5 lbs to your PR. Do you really plan on adding another set for each 5 lb increase??

In general from what you listed you may never ad more sets maybe you will add a set or 2 on the warm up. What will change as you add significant loads to your max will be the jumps you make they will be say a plate instead of 20 lbs or 25 lbs instead of 10 etc
