And Nee isnt even 22 yet, they guy is incredible, and ive actually exchanged the notes with him online via facebook, and he’s a really nice guy.

Kevin Nee was Amazing at the Mohegan Sun! That guy has some heart! How about Odd Haugen! 57 and missing the finals by a point! Also, I was never aware of the Polish Following Marius Pudzianowskihad had! Amazing… when he stepped out the place exploded into a Polish Chant! I think its great that a Strength Athlete has such a following.
But my ultimate highlight that night had to be the guy who asked me if I power lift. Convo went like this
Polish Guy- Do you power lift?
Me- Oh no sir, I throw the Shot in College
Polish Guy- Or thats Great! What is your deadlift
Me- as i pee myself in excitement i just pulled 500 2 months ago!
Polish Guy- or thats not too bad
Me- I’m so happy you asked me what my deadlift is… and not my bench
Polish guy- why would anyone care what you bench… thats the dumbest thing i have ever heard!!!
Needless to say… that guy made my day! That whole night was great, great competition, We need more strong man events on the East Coast!

I look forward to the day when someone asks me what my deadlift is, nice pull by the way.
As an ex high school thrower thinking about possible walking on at a small school, can i ask what ya throw ?

It?s official, that as the top four finishers at the WSMSS Mohegan Sun Grand Prix, Mariusz Pudzianowski, Kevin Nee, Mark Felix and Jason Bergmann will receive invitations to the 2007 MET-Rx World?s Strongest Man contest.
WSMSS Tour Director Jesper Albansson said that the Mohegan Sun Grand Prix ?was an incredible event where the athletes really kept pushing each other. Kevin was on Mariusz?s heels throughout the event and Mark Felix looked incredibly good. Jason Bergman and Marshall White where both putting on a great show, all in the favor of the crowd of 4000 . . . A new record!?
Really spotlighting the young talent, Albansson said, ?Jason entered his first big Grand Prix and qualified for WSM . . . That’s impressive!? and he added, ?We are really happy to see that America is producing so many young and able athletes. It will be interesting to see what will come out of the rest of the tour.?
?New Canadian Louis-Philippe Jean look impressive in his first big competition but a few wrong moves spoiled the day for him. Expect to see big things from him in the future,? added Albansson.
? This is becoming a classic strongman event unlike no other,? Albansson said enthusiastically. ?This proves the the Super Series and Mohegan Sun are a perfect match.?
The Mohegan Sun Grand Prix also provided a stage for introducing WSMSS merchandise, Albansson told IronMind. ?We sold out at Mohegan,? Albansson said, but just in case you weren?t there or couldn?t get the shirt you wanted, Albansson said you can still get one of the limited edition shirts from the newly-opened Super Series store: www.super-series.com .
