Dystrophic muscles suffer from enhanced oxidative stress. We have investigated whether administration of an antioxidant, epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), a component of green tea, reduces their oxidative stress and pathophysiology in mdx mice, a mild phenotype model of human Duchenne-type muscular dystrophy. EGCG (5 mg/kg body weight in saline) was injected subcutaneously 4�? a week into the backs of C57 normal and dystrophin-deficient mdx mice for 8 weeks after birth. Fourth, the times for the maximum tetanic force of soleus muscles to fall by a half increased to almost normal values. 5MG/KG bodyweight EGCG. So for me i would need 450mg pure Egcg injected 4 times a week for 8 weeks to match the study.

I haven’t actually tried the protocol of injections i suggested. It’s just speculation as i wouldn’t risk injecting something which isn’t pharmaceutical grade.

From my research i’ve figured a good way to take it is straight upon waking before eating with just a little orange juice for absorption."

It was going quite well for a little while but the problem was it would make me feel a little nauseous. Anyway one day i threw up so i decided to stop taking it. If i remember rightly it did have a bit of an effect but it also made me extremely hungry.
From my research i’ve figured a good way to take it is straight upon waking before eating with just a little orange juice for absorption."
