If I had the powers of superman I would honestly pick a fight with every superpower country.
Would you rather:
Never have to eat again, but always be properly satiated and fuelled
OR
Never have to workout again, but continue to make slow and steady gains?
never eat again.
Imagine the gains with this aspect dialed in, with no effort on my part.
I would go crazy(ier) without training.
This one, I would get back time to learn other things while my physique improved all by itself - therefore I could be a genius and have the body of a Norse God.
Can I be Bane with access Kryptonite?
Edit: This version of Bane
Not the Tom Hardy version from Dark Knight Rises
but youād never hit another PR
Iād be okay with that
Silver Alert.
Donāt even know who that character is, so substitute as you see fitā¦
Iād take this one. Nice to just chill for 6 mos. or something and not lose ground.
I would say that the original question is far too vague to really be answerable. What does fully recovered mean?
The point of lifting weights is generally to build muscle and strength, which happens when you recover from a training session. If I do a 6 hour squat marathon where I max out repeatedly, take dozens of sets to failure, and just generally beat myself up, this isnāt generally going to be effective, especially if I do it day after day. Thatās mainly because there is no physical way I can recover from it, if I can finish the training session at all.
But what if, as promised, I am fully recovered the next day? If that just means that I am as strong and muscular (and as uninjured) as I was before the session, the superpower is worthless. I might as well have not done the session at all. I think most would agree that āfully recoveredā from a session (or at least at the end of a training cycle), would ideally mean that I have built muscle and increased my strength. But by how much? What does it mean to be āfully recoveredā from 30 sets of squats taken to failure on a daily basis? There really is no answer as far as I can tell.
Never have to train again.
As much as I love training, there are definitely times I wish I could just take a long break, be sedentary and not lose anything. Never HAVE to workout again doesnāt mean I CANāT workout
Also, I enjoy food too much. Cooking/eating is a big part of life. Hard to really appreciate food if youāre satiated all the time
