Would GSP Smash a Boxer?

This is why most of the better posters on this forum ignore you, but then you know that right? No?

When did you become the voice for the “better posters” of this forum?
I didn’t say I was “the voice for better posters”, Nor did I imply it. However, as a long time poster I am always impressed with the really good posters on this forum.

Don’t confuse quantity with quality.

Actually, he’s not a very good poster. His statements are usually general, he’s used weak straw man arguments in the past. At times he seems absent of all logic. His ability to read a sentence and actually understand what it says is very poor as well. He may be a great guy and your good forum friend but he’s clearly not one of the better posters on this forum.

We agree here. Politics would not have been injected into the conversation had irish not first brought it up, I then followed suit, I’m sure you caught that. He also for some reason brought religion into the thread, I thought that was odd even for him.

I don’t think it’s a matter of “knowing” current political events better, or for that matter understanding the combat arts better. I think Irish knows boxing better than I do for example. Rather, I think it’s a matter of being able to carry on a civil debate without attacking someone personally for their particular views. Also, taking the time to really understand what the other poster is stating helps as well. Something I think you are able to do, but Irish not so well. Irish feels he has to defend boxing for probably a number of reasons (a sport that I still watch). He argues from emotion and that’s never a good thing.

Anyway, good talking to you take care Boss

Clearly you haven’t been on this forum very fucking long. Since you decided to grace T-Nation with your presence again, the majority of your posts have been debating about gays in the politics forum. You don’t even bother talking about chinups anymore.

I’ve been on here since T-Nation started the Combat Sports forum, and I think I’ve done just fine.

Hey dicksmack- who brought it up first? It wasn’t me. So, as usual, you’re full of shit.

This was yours- you even quoted me, so I know that it wasn’t me.

Now, if you can find where I talked about it before then, I’ll shut up.

So if you’re done polluting this forum, kindly go back to gay-bashing in the politics forum. I’m sure Forlife misses you.

About 1 or 2 years longer than you have. But, what does that really mean?

I felt compelled to “straighten” out a few misconceptions that your liberal pals in the media have passed off as truth. But, I still talk Chin-ups, just have not done so on the forum since my return, thanks for noticing.

You may have thought you’ve done “just fine” because you’ve been debating (some) people who might get intimidated by your surly nature, almost constant profanity and general cross demeanor. To put it succinctly you try to bully people who don’t agree with you. You don’t do this all the time, but enough times where you might think that you’ve won some sort of point when the person you’re debating really just wants to get away from you and your sheer ignorance.

And yes, I did check and I brought up Sarah Palin first, I’ll apologize for that when you apologize for misquoting me and trying to use the straw man argument, which by the way fell flat.

Once again, you’re confused (familiar position huh?), you’re the one who wishes people harm on this forum. I’ve read some of your political diatribe which ranges from wishing harm to public figures whom you don’t like to showing us how much you really don’t know about how the government actually operates. I’ve literally laughed out loud at your ignorance on many occasions. Currently I just skip over your posts as I know there’s no point in engaging you in debate as it usually turns out the way this has, which is a waste of time. What I’ve done on the thread that you speak of is state facts from the CDC and many other quality studies performed by people who actually matter (unlike you). Again, I understand you are pro homosexual, pro abortion, pro high tax and pro big government. Nothing new about any of it.

I could say that my opinion of you has been lowered by this latest nonsense, but that’s just not the case as my opinion of you could not have been any lower.

So getting back to combat sports. Hey Irish, I think Hatton would beat Pac and Mayweather in an MMA match cuz Hatton would come in at 180!

Thanks for your opinion. Now kindly go back to bashing gays on the politics forum. Thanks.

At the same time or one on one?

It’s such a shame, but he’s going to end up big and fat like Buster Douglas.

It really amazed me, I saw him doing an interview for a sports channel recently and he had a double chin and everything… it didn’t show his body but you could tell he was turning super fat just by his face and neck. This is the same guy who looked like he was at about 7% body fat at weigh in pictures I’ve seen.

Tiger all the way.
What about a killer whale vs. a great white?

Didn’t you see Jaws 2? The shark wins.

What about Chuck Norris vs. Ditka?
Wow that would be tough but I am going Ditka.
O.K. how about Abe Lincoln vs. JFK?

Are we talking when they were both in their primes or during Abe’s later career when he started just cherry picking fights for the easy money and didn’t train so hard?

Also, would this be at a catch weight?
Well, Abe was a catch wrestler, don’t know so much about Kennedy.

Gotta agree with Irish though that TR probably would have beat them both in hand to hand.

Ricky Hatton getting fat? What an outrage!
I immediately googled that shit and came to a series of silly pics starring Hatton and… Phil Heath:

and here’s fat Hatton.
Unbelievable.

That picture was taken August 17, 2007! And it’s well documented that Hatton like to get up to 175+ after fights. There’s a reason why he’s sometimes called Ricky FATton, he likes to eat up with his fans.
