Worst Movie You've Ever Seen?

Blasphemy!

If you’re really not into the whole ‘introspective’ endings thing, I can understand not liking the last 90 seconds of the movie, but the rest of it is pretty kick-ass.

You must have had your expectations really built up before seeing it from hearing everyone saying how great it is, yes? That’s the only reasonable explanation, apart from you being mildly retarded I suppose.
I knew someone was going to question this. I could understand and comprehend the ending just fine, it just sucked. It was the most irrational and over-hyped movie I’ve ever seen.

SO TRUE!!

That movie was cheesy but it was fun and very watchable. Not a worst movie at all.

Great book, terrible movie. It would have been impossible to make well since the line between reality and drug induced fiction is so blurred in the book. Depp does a great HST impersonation but HST is (was) a very pathetic figure in real life, drugs absoultely wrecked him physically but his mind and writing were great.

Very good movie but a bit over rated. It was silly and fun and I still enjoy it.

Vanilla Sky is awesome

The movie was slow…but the overall premise wasn’t that bad at all for “sci-fi”. It was like a very long drawn out Twilight Zone episode.

I may never watch it again…but I am not sure it rates as one of the worst ever.
I didn’t like Vanilla Sky much at all the first time I saw it.

Then I saw it on TV a couple times, and liked it a little more.

Now I own it on DVD, and think it’s pretty good. Some movies are like that.

I have it on dvd but haven’t seen it in years. I will probably watch it this weekend just because of this thread.

Really bad movies are movies that never should have been made. Vanilla Sky just isn’t one of those.

Same here. It grew on me and now I love it.

anyone seen HACHET? or Black Sheep? TERRIBLE!!!

Did you watch Hatchet thinking it was a serious movie? That was a straight-to-DVD horror film. What were you expecting?

you’re kidding right?

How can you not like that movie?

The worst movie of all time is Be Cool. It’s not even debateablr, it’s scientific fact. They live is one of the few good Carpenter movies.

Well, I guess for comedic value it has it’s place. But, for it’s original intent to portray the coolest and most philosophical bouncer alive it blew. For me anyway.

Please tell me someone here has seen Skeleton Man.

If you haven’t, and even if you have, you need to read this review. It’s completely accurate and funny as hell:

Also terrible:

“Darkman 3: Die Darkman Die”

Yes, that’s the title. Yes, it’s terrible.

Excellent call. I walked out of the theater on this one. For purposes of full disclosure though, I was also extremely drunk.

This needs to be watched over and over:

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever.

Batman and Robin.

Battlefield Earth.

Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Oh, and all those “spoof” movies they’ve been churning out over the past few years (Date Movie, Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, etc).

Lara Croft Tomb Raider… horrible aside from the eye candy that is Angelina Jolie.

I have to agree, for the most part. BUT, and I say this hesitantly, I found a “director’s cut” of this movie. And it was good.

It was about 30 minutes longer than the original. Lucy’s fight with the kung fu guy from Star Wars is three times as long, the plot between Ecks and the head CIA whatever guy is expanded on, and he doesn’t say “good luck” to the kung fu guy and the CIA whatever guy.

I can’t find it anywhere, including Demonoid and h33t.
