Worst Movie You've Ever Seen?

The Core. Worst piece of shit ever. I mean, they release it right after the columbia shuttle disaster and the movie OPENS with a scene of a spaceship crashing. Completely tasteless. Somehow the movie actually managed to make it all downhill from there.

Good call, that shit was terrible. The ending was right up there with “Contact” for sheer embarrassment.[/quote]

Worst Ending Ever could be a whole new thread…but I do believe Contact is damn near the top.

I’m about to win this thread:

Spanglish

It took me three months to nurse my testicles back to life.

Blasphemy!

If you’re really not into the whole ‘introspective’ endings thing, I can understand not liking the last 90 seconds of the movie, but the rest of it is pretty kick-ass.

You must have had your expectations really built up before seeing it from hearing everyone saying how great it is, yes? That’s the only reasonable explanation, apart from you being mildly retarded I suppose.

Please. I’ll take that and serve you one “Gigli” FTW.

How about we avoid such an arrangement?

Roadhouse, I damn near walked out of the theater. The cheese factor was off the scale.

SO TRUE!!

Mine are:

“Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas”.
I enjoy Hunter S. Thompson as a writer, but not as a character played by an actor in a shitty movie about an episode in his wacky life.

“Forrest Gump”
I could barely sit through that gratuitous piece of drivel.

Worst movie I’ve seen in 2003 was SWAT.

More blasphemy!

I think the only people who think that movie sucks are people who don’t have the knowledge of history to understand what the hell is going on throughout the film.

I’m 45, Bauer. History is not lost on me. Did you miss the GRATUITOUS part of my post? Okay, maybe you’ll understand CORNY better.

Take your pick.

You are going to have to explain that one, young man.

Forrest Gump one of the worst movies? What is one of the best to you?

Any movie that people are quoting for 10 years after the release is technically never a “bad movie”.

Being alive for 45 years doesn’t inherently mean you have a keen knowledge base of U.S. and World history.

I know lots of stupid old people.

That movie has a couple ‘heartfelt’ moments, but I think they’re all well-acted. It’s a drama, not an action flick.

Not every movie can be Full Metal Jacket from start to finish, you know.

forrest gump is a classic.

“They Live” is a classic!

The last time this question came up on the forum, I said “The Village.” A lot of bad movies have come out since that one, but I still stand by the Village as the standard for bad movies.

The movie was slow…but the overall premise wasn’t that bad at all for “sci-fi”. It was like a very long drawn out Twilight Zone episode.

I may never watch it again…but I am not sure it rates as one of the worst ever.

Agreed, it held my interest and I thought the message was good.

Also, in regard to ‘They Live’, I liked it way back when I first saw it and it made me like Rowdy Roddy Piper even though I wasn’t into wrestling.

Doug Adams, in Contact my understanding wasn’t that the Alien was her father. Rather that it appeared to her as her father to facilitate a better mode of communication. I thought it was an ok movie.
