Maybe not the worst ever, but certainly a HUGE disappointment! To paraphrase a line from Jurassic Park, “Just because you CAN do it, doesn’t mean you SHOULD do it”. If I had a buck for each time I caught myself saying “yeah Right”, I would have made a nice little profit off those three hours.
Some examples:
Dinosaur stampede(with people running under foot)
The stuck in the vines sequence.
Large sea vessel runs into solid rocks, more than once, and sails away
Kid shoots giant bugs off Jack, with a Tommy gun
Giant bats wait until Kong wakes up to attack him
Kong withstands multiple bites from T-rex, but one harpoon cripples him(oh!, and a bottle of chlorophyl).
Movie should have been sponsered by Ironmind, for all the amazing feats of grips strength on display.
The list goes on and on…and on, and that isn’t even talking about the script or casting.
I want my money back!!!
Peter Jackson couldn’t hold Spielberg’s jock. He got lucky with LOTR. Stick a fork in him.

I agree with this. Great special effects. Nice “monkey/woman” love scene. However, there is no way I will see that movie again unless forced. I am amazed that so many gave it great reviews. Jurassic Park is still the winner when it comes to sci fi and CGI dinosaurs.

It’s funny, I haven’t anyone who is in the middle about the Blair Witch Project yet.
Either someone thinks it’s awful or downright genius.
Personally, I watched it in an empty house, all lights out, and I found it to be the most scary movie ever … it takes the right mood and setting to let your imagination run wild, I guess.

Eh. I thought it was ok. I’d recommend it just for something a bit different in the horror genre. I liked a few scenes, esp the very end - still, I thought “that’s it?” when it ended.
I’d have liked to have seen the backstory played up more at the end, like how the investigators found the film canisters.
It’s the first time I ever got motion sickness in a theater. I heard a few similar complaints from others in the theater.
Worse than a bad porn movie in that it tried to include every theme possible rolled all into one movie…rich kid lives on the streets and ends up in a mysterious asian prison high up in the isolated mountains…PLUS ninja like characters!!! OMG, and Liam Neeson as an Asian-Yoda-like martial arts/life/philosophy teacher/helper/villainous mysterious character…that was much too much. I finally walked out before the movie was done. Maybe I missed the best (or the worst) part of the movie, who knows.
Although Christian Bale’s acting is really good…but that in no way salvaged the movie in my eyes.
Sorry if this is blasphemy to Batman fans (including my little nephew who thinks it’s a cool movie!)
Wha?? No way!! Maybe not the best movie out there, but certainly not the worst!! I think he really fleshed out the movie for being based on a comic book (though the ending was crap). I’m totally looking forward to Christopher Nolan’s next movie!! (Memento is my favorite movie) Oh, and Christian Bale is HOT in Batman Begins!! You have to give props for that at least.

uh huh. try watching the shining at an abandoned resort during a blizzard.
There’s a piece of work floating around out there called “The Zodiac Killer”. What’s that? You’ve never seen it? Please, for the love of God, keep it that way. You’re welcome.

Cant remember who was in it but the movie was called THE WRAITH.
Charlie Sheen.
Yeah, that was bad, but it wasn’t Wing Commander.
And Sheralin Flynn…NAKED!!!
My pics
Vanilla Sky: An awfull movie. I was writhing in pain untill Cruise was stainding in the lobby screeming “TECH SUPPORT!!!” like someone out of a bad HP commercial. At that point i gave up and just reveled in the stench.
The Eliminator: Maybe you haven’t seen this. I rented it on DVD just to see “El Guapo” Bas Rutten. As great as Bas is, he couldn’t save this movie. It was basicaly a MMA version of The Most Dangerous Game. All of Bas’s moves were right out of his MMA instructional DVD’s.
Men of Honor: DeNero as a biggot, Gooding Jr. as a boyscout in lead boots. This one just didn’t do it for me. Cuba’s tearfelt “He told me to be the best” recitle made me vomit in my wifes potted fern.
Capitan Corelli’s Manolin: While not a totaly bad movie, the shot of naked Penelopy Cruise’s armpit 'fro destroyed it.

I hated what they did to Ra’s Al Ghul. He was one of the coolest villans of all time!!

If we’re talking about movies with big box office that a lot of people like, I think “Meet the Parents” is one of the worst ever. A guy making an ass out of himself just isn’t funny to me, and that seems to be the intended source of humor in most Ben Stiller movies. I kind of liked “Zoolander” though.

Ah, yes, that would be wonderful wouldn’t it? All would be right with the world.
As for Final Destination, the second one had that awesome action sequence in the beginning. When the tree goes through the cop car, that’s great stuff. And the window hitting the kid later on, sweet.
