Worst Movie Ever?

The worst movie of the past, present & future would have to be “Pootie Tang” with Chris Rock & Wanda Sykes!! It was pure SHIT

The first one is by far the most disturbing piece of crap anyone could possibly watch. Just thinking about that movie makes me pissed. Now I am waiting for someone in their late 30s - early 40s to tell me that I don’t know what I am talking about.

You don’t know what you’re talking about.[/quote]

Thanks for filling in lol. Clockwork Orange is still shit. How can anyone possibly consider that entertainment?

I would now like to nominate “Lady In The Water” for this dubious honor. M.Night Shaymalan really needs to stop making movies. I can’t believe I let my friend rope me into seeing this.

I watched an episode of Adult Swim last night (stop motion animation) and they were ripping the piss out of M Night Shamalangs(?) movies.

Pootie Tang was poor but I couldnt help laughing my as soff with a few friends when we first saw it.

I’ll put Dude Where’s My Car up against any movie in history. That shit was horrible. Followed closely by Dreamcatcher

In the first 5 min, I have not laughed so hard in my life.

The next hour sucked ass.

The shittiest of all shit movies was witnessed by yours truly just last night.

“Match Point”

My GF got it from Netflix, presumably to torture me with proper snooty British dialogue, but even she couldn’t handle it after 30 minutes.

And the fucking thing was over 2 hours long.

Scarlett Johansen is in it, true, but even her performance was forced and downright terrible.

Damn that movie straight to hell.

B.

Really? I know the critics seemed to hate it, but I’ve talked to several ‘real’ people who saw it and said it was great.

I’m still trying to decide if I’m going to go see it or not…

I’d give it a C. The cinematography at the end of the culmination scene is great. Its a popout scary movie. Things pop out at you to scare you rather than being scary. Great, great, great score. The score fits very well and sets the scenes well. There really aren’t any “twists” in this movie. Nothing like the 6th Sense. Thats the way he made it though.

I was just waiting for someone to say what you just did. I’ll go see it now that I know it may not be a complete waste of time. The more I think about it, the more I hate Superman Returns and wish I hadn’t seen it.

No mention of Solaris yet? It holds the great honour of being the only movie I have ever fallen asleep during. Its a piece of dogshit.

I totally agree with the guy who mentioned the History of Violence. Whilst not coming close to being the worst movie ever, it is still the worst critically acclaimed and acknowledged film I have ever seen. Its a turd. The acting, plot and script are all so bad its ridiculous. How can anyone like it i dunno.

I saw it in the cinema and me and my friend were literally crying with laughter (I mean tears and everything) at the ‘sex’ scene on the stairs. It was the most preposterous thing I have ever seen in a film. Yes we were the only ones laughing and got stared at but so what. It deserved to be laughed at. I can’t believe I admitted to laughing at what basically constitutes rape but there you go.

For me it’s M.Night’s style. I don’t see why people love his work. He essentially just uses high-end fantasy stories to try and make a point about everyday life. Was anyone really moved by “Signs?”

A farmer needs to have his wife killed in order for him to remember some advice that will save his son from a killer alien. This is supposed to prove to us, in M. Night’s words, that “things happen for a reason.” Kind of a crock to me.

I guess my vote would go to “The Postman” with Kevin Costner. Not sure if this was mentioned already, but if you really want quality worst movies check out Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes.Definitely best of breed.

It’s gotta be “Sex and the City”

Long time ago, before I knew what was it about, I made the mistake to watch one episode. When it ended, I was like “but hey, I’m still waiting for the action!” :frowning:

Never again.

I have them both on DVD. Hysterical.

Tom Green jerking off a horse is must see and Chris Elliot is a genius.

That damned phrase has been stuck in my head since I first heard it! That and the image of the tobacco chewing sun. Jesus they were baked when they wrote that. haha

Catwoman

Of the few flicks I’ve actually stopped because I could find absolutely nothing of value, its still one of the worst pieces of shite to ever scar my brain. Even with Halle Berry.

Also, A Clockwork Orange should NOT be on this list. Fantastic movie! Excellent Kubrick. Great visual, great representation of the novel, great use of language, and lovely, lovely ultra-violence. hahah

Not to start an argument, but there are people who really appreciate M. Night Shyamalan’s movies. I love the guy’s style and I think he is a freakin genius! I would rate his movies as follows, with #1 being the best;

1-Unbreakable
2-Signs
3-The Village
4-Lady in the Water
5-Sixth Sense

I understand not everyone likes his style but it seems a lot of the people I actually know and discuss the movies with who don’t like, can’t handle a movie without a bunch of action. They find the movies slow. And when people talk about Signs they say the aliens weren’t realistic and it wasn’t believable that they didn’t know about the water.

These people don’t understand that that is inconsequential. The movie wasn’t meant to be about aliens, it’s about a man who gets his faith back. These days all it takes to entertain most people are some car chases and explosions. Fuck the story! Just make a movie of car chases and explosions and you have a box office hit!
