Worst Form Ever Videos

You know, 475x3 is pretty damn good, rounded back or not. Most good conventional DLer’s round out on max efforts. His form is much improved, c’mon give credit where it’s due.

Not that Max has much on this guy, but he rounds like a muthafucker. I’d like ya’ll to tell him he has bad form.

didn’t expect i would turn out to be educating people on this forum on how to deadlift. people like you get a boner when there are 3 or more plates on each side of the bar and then turn a blind eye to the form. this guy is not maxing out maybe 1 rep with his back rounded a bit, his back is constantly rounded throughout his sets like a bobby pin. having said that, my own videos don’t make his back less rounded. instead, look at this video of coleman (5 ft 11) deadlifting 800 lbs with a STRAIGHT back:

now please, stop saying this crap like ‘ye’s hes maxing so his back his rounded’ and stop justifying this and encouraging him or he’ll end up in a wheelchair sooner or later.

The OP (Jamesbidon) has a bizarre and creepy obsession with this guy. I bet he watches these videos and diddles himself wishing he could pull the weight that max is pulling.

You’re also comparing Max to Coleman as if this is a fair comparison. So you think he’s at such a high level of performance that he must match a former Mr Olympia?

If you wanted to help, you’d find vids of people with different proportions, making simple and common technique errors and tell people how to subtly change their form to be safer/move more weight.

I’m not sure what you think a beginner will take from watching those videos, other than a false sense of superiority that they are “doing it right”, and potentially join the ranks of misguided youtube critics.

No one here is saying you should lift like that, but why attack someone working hard, who has been generally successful in his chosen field?

1: i made a similar topic on bb.com and the moderators made it an instant sticky topic that gets around 1000-2000 unique views per day at the moment - that board is a couple times bigger than this one and has way more expertise around so i'm not the only one who thinks diesel weasel / maxbm has a shitty form.

  1. seems like the few people on this board posting in this topic instead get a boner from the number of plates on a barbell and do not care about form. ok, that's fine, then my videos don't serve the purpose for you. they are simply ment to illustrate how to get a hernia as fast as possible. sure,i really don't give a a single cent about the strength of diesel weasel / max, i'm a foot taller than him and i don't carelessly pull weights like superman. show his videos to anyone with a medical degree and they'll pick his wheelchair out immediately.

  2. the video of coleman was simply to illustrate that you can also lift way more weight with a proper form instead of having a rounded back all along. the fact that you are comparing his BW to his strength is just ridiculous - he should lower his weight instead, lift with proper form and eat more to get his BW up. sorry but as one of the moderators on bb.com put it: he looks like a garden gnome at the moment.

ok well i will anyways: the videos of diesel weasel / max bm, like i said before, are the epitome of bad form. no videos illustrate so clearly all things you have to do to get into a wheelchair. therefore they serve perfectly to show beginners what things not to do if they want to keep walking on their legs. again, i'm not the only one who thinks so as it's a sticky topic on bb.com (for your interest: the biggest lifting board in the world).

oh and 1 more thing, the suggestion that i am jealous of not pulling like diesel weasel / max.

Yet, you seem intent on only posting Max’s bad form videos and calling him out on it. Sure, he may have had terrible for back then but he has made good progress. You should give credit where it is due. He’s progressing and has cleaned up quite a bit from when he first started.

You joined the forums JUST to start this thread (going by your join date). You’ve only posted videos of Max’s lifts where I’m sure there are plenty of other videos on youtube showing bad form as well.

Just because bb.com is the biggest lifting board in the world does not necessarily make it the best and most knowledgeable. Going by your posts, I’m assuming you must have the best form in the world. So why don’t you post an instructional video of how to deadlift or squat? I’m sure that would better serve the beginners if they see what they SHOULD do instead of constantly seeing what they SHOULD NOT do.

James you’ve done nothing but troll this board with DW videos. He has obviously cleaned up his form. How does a video from 2005 have any merit? If I was a mod I would go as far as to ban you as you are doing nothing productive around here.

If you used it for a beginners sake then I can see it being a good idea but you are just basically calling out the guy for videos FUCKING nearly 3-5 years old!

look, i never made this personal - i made this topic about the form in the videos regardless of the person starring in them. i don't care whether he became stronger or improved his form a little bit - he could've been in a wheelchair by now as well.

true i joined this forum just to start this thread. true there are other videos showing bad form as well, but you can't find any videos that show as bad form as diesel weasel (fake ones excluded).

and regarding your suggestion to post videos of how to lift correctly: there are thousands of these. just go find them on youtube. what this thread makes unique, and why it is a sticky on bb.com, is the reason that for the first time there's a bunch of real videos that show by means of a horrific form how NOT to lift on all compound exercises.
