I have no idea what you are talking about ![]()
experimentā¦will my avi change?
edit: Yes it will!
Great, the eye candy avatar changed. Iām out.
āParting is such sweet sorrowā someone told me once. I think that means the same thing as āhate to see you go, love to watch you leave.ā
Ah, āparting is such sweet sorrowā. Romeo and Julietās words still ring true today:
āI hate to see you leave, but I love to see you walk away.ā
āI hate to see her go, but I love to watch her leave. But I keep her running back and forth like a soccer team.ā
{(5 x 5) (4 1)} = 35. Not ready to call that 7 x 5.
First 4 sets thick grip, then the rest standard when the delinquents finally cleared out from my pull-up spot.
Iām checking out your log Nikki. Whatās your boyfriend like?
What do you want to know, physical stats or something?
No I meant personality. Youāve burst onto T-Nation like a tornado. Youāre seem outgoing, outspoken, smart, and driven. Is your man a boy-toy or can he keep up with you?
I keep up with him. We complete and compliment each other very well.
I donāt care about what he did in his life or whatever, heās the only guy Iāve met whoās ever respected me.
Well thats nice that you guys are a match.
Caught you off guard with that shit though.
What, you caught me off gaurd?
I thought I did. Back to the drawing board.
Good luck with that ![]()
Let me know when you got something to catch me off guard with.
totally busted me.
Last weekend I worked 8 hours saturday and sunday being an unskilled laborer and I have two jobs during the week one of which (painting) is somewhat physically demanding so I was beat to hell. This week Iām dog sitting for a rich family in their suburban mansion so the only excercise Iāve gotten (other than 8hrs of painting a day) is a few laps in the pool. Iām calling it a deload week but I dont know if thats valid or not for someone at my level.
anyway Iām already itching to get back to it. Monday wāell see if the rest helps or sets me back.
Deloads definetely wonāt hurt you. Might get you to go harder in the gym too.
I just gotta keep you on track ![]()
well that was about ten days off. Also ten days off soft tissue stuff and I hurt everywhere. Next time I take time off I will have to keep up with static stretching and rolling.
10 good pullups. Called it a day. 2 x 5
Lots of cross country style walking. Probably three miles or more over the course of the day.
Discovered weight set in the house Im staying in. Serindipitous because I obviously now need to focus on something other than pullups.
I think its a 15lb bar with 50lbs on it.65lbs. So I just did various circuits, dicked around with curls, shrugs, deadlift, squats, upright row, goodmornings and anything else I could think of.
Gonna focus on squats and military press.
Im in this house till Aug 4. Lets see how many squats and presses I can do in an hour by then.
smr, glutes, IT band, plantar. Fels like my IT band retracts into my hip and wreaks havoc on my left side. Make my knee feel unstable and causes pain and tenderness where my glutes, quads and I dunno I guess obliques meet. If such a place exists. just nasty nasty business. When its bad it seems to cause nerve impingement. There have been times when i havent been able to lift up my leg to put on socks.
Anyway.
36 x 81 lbs atg squats (20,6,10)
Did mule kicks and fire hydrants after set of 20 and then was able to feel glutes and hamstrings if I concentrated. Lets keep that up for sure.
Slow descent seemed to really help recruit hamstrings also.
Lets see if I can do 50 tommorrow or the next day
Military press for sure tommorrow.
It should go away, I had that pain too. I was told foam rolling/tennis ball will help. Also if you cross one leg in front of the other and stretch it that way. I donāt know, a fitness instructor told me to do those things. But it went away on its own.
Are you pushing through your heels when ascending? That gets the booty involved ![]()

yes maam. Trying to. Have toes slightly elevated by standing with my heels on bare concrete and toes on carpet.
Dont think the pain is going to go away though.
I roll with a softball and pool ball. Iām that hardcore.
Iāve had this problem off and on since knee surgery years ago. It was at its worst a couple years ago when I worked at a sleep away camp with hiking/canoe trips. It got to the point where I couldnt get up out of a chair. I had to have campers help me up like I was some kind of frail old man. So lots of trial and error and bad advice later I think Im on track with SMR and increasing mind muscle with the posterior chain. I hope that does the trick anyway.
