World's Most Boring Log

8 x 5 neutral grip pull ups. If I kept this pace adding a set every two days that would be just special.
Very interested to see how this translates to standard grip in three weeks or so.

5rd day no smoke.

9 x 5 neutral gripz even if I took a hell of a long time between some of the sets. Maybe could of got 10 but I want to leave some ceiling to reach for if that makes any sense. That and I’m a great big pussy.

Yeah I had about 8 cigarettes over the three days of the weekend. 4 friday night and 4 sunday. But my bad-influence-friend probably had three times as many while I was hanging out with him so I consider it an improvement. We used to go butt for butt. None today, and not much in the way of craving.

1 x 10 sprints. Static stretching and soft tissue shit all fucking day at work. Instead of smoke breaks I took pool ball to the shoulder blade breaks. Hip flexor stretch breaks.

Because of all that nonsense, as well as glube activation excercises (fire hydrant, mule kicks directly prior to running) felt like my running form was good getting hams and glubies really involved.

Endurance no progress probably as a direct result of smoking t’other day. Also I always have hated being tired and out of breath and feeling like i’m going to puke. Its a problem.

10 x 5 neutral grip pulls. Feels like the dawn of a new me really. I feel like a manimal in a good way.

Especially cause on my fifth set I only got three, then I fell off the bar, did 1, fell off the bar and then did 1. I was all like OHN! and WTF? But then I walked around for a bit, stretched some and then did sets 6,7. Walked around some did 8. Then after 9 on 10 i could feel my body wanting to give out but my brain said fuck that you aint leaving nothing. I accomplished what I set out to accomplish and it feels rad. Now Im gonna eat some chicken.

Only problem is I dont know what to do on friday. I think I’ll stick with neutral grip but I need to look up some variations cause I dont feel like doing 10 sets on anything ever again. Took about an hour I think with all the stretching NOT accounting for all the SMR.

1 x 15 sprints.

If I recall correctly last FRIDAY I did maybe 4 x 4 neutral grip. Wasn’t feeling it.

MONDAY: Im dogsitting in a different neighborhood so I have a different park. This means thick grip pullups and a real place to do dips.

Superset dips and pulls 5 x 5. Pretty sloppy pullups at the end there. Couldnt really say my chest hit the bar. Felt Like I had a few more pullups in me but dips were difficult which is no surprise as its been some weeks since Ive done any due to shoulder discomfort. Not much pain this time due to the good width of the bars.

last night. Level surface. 40 yd sprints.
1 x 10.

10 x 5 neutral grip.

10 or 11 x 48 pace sprints. Lost count due to being tired, so I did the 11th to be safe.

Can we call 48 paces 50 yds?

some odd 32 standard grip pull ups. Like 2,7,6,5,4,5,4 or summat like that.

35 standard grip. In sets of 5.
It could have been 30.
I forgot to keep track by placing stones on the ground next to the bar in a neat little line for every set I do.

How’s the no smoking going?

Real good. My entire family and pretty much all my friends smoke so even though I’ve had maybe three at the bar here and there I consider myself quit. Thanks for asking.

10 40yd barefoot sprints.
Didn’t let myself rest much between reps. Almost yakked.

Got some protein powder because I haven’t been eating enough. Lets see if it has any effect on my numbers.

More calories will help, less cigarettes will be help more  Haha just teasing. If you haven’t tried already, I am a fan of creatine pre-w/o.

Is that a pic of you in your football years or a pic of a your fave player?

favorite player just retired. Mr. Isaac Bruce.

Good advice. You’re wise beyond your years.

I am brimming with wiseness… um, wisdom.

Meanwhile, I keep hearing that. But usually old people tell me, not someone 6 years my senior

Oh its a very wise six years I have on you. My drivers license may say I just turned 24 but my soulful eyes will tell you my true age…at least 25 and 3/4

33 standard grip pullups. 6 x 5 + 3.

Much smoother. Call it progress.

Start student teaching in august. If they have a gym I can use I am gonna start squat, deads, and some kind of press.

10 x 43.66 yds sprints. No rest except the walk back to my starting point. Pretty easy except for a baby cramp in my stomach. Should up the volume next week.

I have a question, call me picky, but 6 x 5 + 3 = 32?
