HOLY SHIT!

That’s all I can say to Liao Hui. I mean, 14 kg increase in the 2nd attempt + C&J world record???

My thoughts exactly on Hui Liao.

I just took a look at that final results – Liao had a 358 kg total. 21 kg ahead of the number two. No one was even remotely close to him.

im sad to see boevski’s total record fall. :frowning:

I wish IWF would have done video recaps of the A sessions like they did last year

Me too! Jiayou!

boevskis total was officially 357, but he did 162.5 and 196.5 so it really was 359, but the 196.5 only counts a 195

It was INSANE to see 197kg from 184kg! Must be SICK to start on a lift heavier then EVERYONE else!

He missed 166, went behind, had enough height on it. He’ll defintely stick anotehr 6kg on for sure imo. Maybe even add another 1-2kg on to the C&J.

The dude is THE MAN! Very exciting!

I was disappointed with Razvan Martin lifting :frowning: Didn’t have the SNAP and POWER like at the Junior Worlds.

Seriously. I am going to watch all of these tomorrow.

The Liao Hui world record clean and jerk lift into a standing backflip was pretty sweet.

Since you’re Canadian…

Our girl Christine Girard came 7th for 69kg women. Awesome placing for a North American athlete.

Go Canada Go!

I did see that. We’ve had a couple athletes in the top 15 as well, I believe. Although I went through the start lists and noticed a few of our big guns are missing (Roberts, Luna-Grenier, et al), from what I’ve heard they’re competing in the Commonwealth Games in lieu of the World Championships.

hey can you guys keep updating the weight class videos from the Chinese TV? Or if you want you can PM me which forum to go to since I don’t know. Thanks.
