Did 2 bodyweight substrate sessions which was basically 30min of shuttles, dips, pull-ups and push-ups.

Gonna push my front squat numbers a bit this cycle.

Things are getting somewhat normalized again.
Nationals in 8 months.
As of right now this is how it looks for teens (Fucking Brutal)

Event 1: Axle/Log Medley (Back and forth for 60sec)
Log will be 220lbs/100kg
Axle will be 230lbs/105kg

Event 2: Dead for reps in 60sec
565lbs/256kg… no suit… T&G allowed
(H O W the actual F U C K did it go from wagon wheel deadlifts at 475lbs/215kg with a suit for reps to THAT, oh well no use in bitching about, just gonna rise to the occasion)

Event 3: Farmers Carry
240lbs/108kg a hand x50ft down and 50ft back.

Event 4: Husafell/Sandbag Medley-
275lbs/124kg husafell x50ft
225lbs/102kg sandbag x50ft

Event 5: Stone Carry & Load

Mainly only worried about the deadlift for reps because that’s fucking heavyyyyyy. Honestly if I can get used to that weight and lift it at least once I know I can bounce and hitch my way to a few more reps. Just don’t want to zero:/

For the past week or so since school is keeping me busy I’ve been maintaining and building slightly off some mean bodyweight workouts. While my adaptions to heavy weights will be weaker once I get back into the gym I’ll still have the same, maybe more, muscle to adapt to the heavy weights. Body comp has taken a slight hit surprisingly.

Not surprised, ages since I touched axle, ages since I lifted a damn thing. Past 4 weeks I’ve been stuck in an absolutely painful depression because no weights = no stress relief. Fucking sucks, my meds aren’t helping too much either weirdly enough. Once this school work load has been dealt with I’ll be fine though.

FUCKING A, while I’ve been on my forced hiatus from weightlifting I decided I’d stop vaping. I was done with it for a while but picked it up again and last week I decided to stop. I had to destroy and trash can all my shit because those nicotine withdrawals are something else. 10/10 harder to put down than anything else I’ve put down.
That minty lung cancer stick is a menace to quit.

Finally getting to a spot again where I can consistently train. Only 2 days a week + what I can do at home but that isn’t a bad deal.

Overall size definitely took a hit sadly. Strength too but after a few weeks of training I should feel somewhat normalized. WE’RE ON THE FUCKIN COMEBACK BOYS, FUCKIN WAR TIME ALL THE TIME.

FUCKING HYPE BOYS, NEXT WEEK I’M PUTTING MYSELF THROUGH HELL. (within reason)

Basic Developmental days will be high volume speed work on deadlifts, 10x10 squats & strict press twice a week for about 4 weeks. Then onto heavier phases of training and competition prep for Elysian Fields Strongest in about 14 weeks, which will qualify me for nationals. Let’s hope all goes well!!
