After swimming some 100ās I decided to take a shot at a 50m sprint and check my time. Turns out after all this time of not touching a single sprint I managed a 29sec 50. Right on the dot of where I was at the end of swim season during my freshman year. Also figured out I can still do a 50m no breather.
Also had some fun and played a 4 on 4 water polo match with some friends and random folks and managed to score a few goals, my team won the match and I played what Iād say is a pretty damn good game.
Nice to see I have still retained some of my water abilities.
Deload this week so I thought Iād post some of the benefits Iāve reaped with my body comp these past 4 weeks. Solid 193lbs/87kg BW and the best Iāve felt in ages.

@duketheslaya implemented the turned hands and it made all the difference lol. Iāve been working at mobility in my wrists too but man the slight turn of my hands made a world of difference! Praise to the young front squat god! Maybe now I can try to chase your front squat, my big question for you now is how the fuck do you not pass out?! I had to unrack and re-rack 115kg 3 or 4 times before I was able to get under it and not almost immediately pass out.

Hehe! Wait till the next 12 week training cycle comes. Iām pushing for 170 atleast but Iām going to hit 180(I might be cheeky and buy some tight ass sleeves loll). I think I have 160 in me now. 150kg had some knee cave but it wasnāt a grind at all and didnāt feel like 100%. I have to work on keeping tight in the hole, my knees out and bracing!
Unrack the bar higher,since you dont have to get as low you can position it better as well as itās easier to unrack and feels better. (I said this in video) When unracking squeeze your glutes and once youāve walked it out squeeze your glutes, Get set and let out a little air and take some in and get as tight as possible before you rep. It must be an individual thing idk, all I know is if Iām not tight enough when walking out and unracking I get crushed and cant breathe so maybe youāre not tight enough. Also without a belt youāre not creating as much intra abdominal pressure so itās harder to breathe with that as well.
Ah.. so I wonāt be catching up to you anytime soon. Hopefully this longer cycle my coach has me doing can push my front squat numbers up pretty high, but coach wants me to build my base strength right now so I donāt see it happening. Maybe 150 Front squat after this cycle.I reckon with a belt I could hit 130-138.

Last time I back squatted I hit 160 x1 beltess after a huge leg workout while pissing around with my buddy. Maybe with some introductory work back into my back squat I could hit 180.
