Workout Music

I dug out some old Wu Tang and Public Enemy the other day and it was pretty awesome.

Other than that it’s the old standby’s like RATM and the others listed.

Oh, and Damageplan.

you got balls just trying to spell those two words, dude.

Oh yeah, good thread.

I pump myself with
various hardcore, straight-edge punk compilations
Early Marilyn Manson (Anti-Christ CD mostly)
Lamb of God
Killswitch Engage
Shadows Fall
Hatebreed
Slipknot (early shit only)
SLAYER
Snapcase
Cradle of Filth

If I’m jumping rope, it’s always punk. Therefore I can keep the fast rhythm with my pace.

Cher all the way.

. . . heh heh heh just kidding.

Heh, glad someone responded. My freind just turned me on to a realy old German band called wumpscut. I usua;y dont listen to Superhardcore stuff(like those zipper wearing nail painting weirdos do) but while working out ive made an exception, you guys chould check them out, especialy a song called Torn Skin.

Currently, on my mini-disk I have STYX anthology in there. Next is gonna be the Boogey Nights soundtrack. Something about that older music makes the whole workout feel “old school”. Like what the guys in Pumping Iron might have listened to.

The only thing I listen to is the sound of my heart beating and my blood pumping as I try to forget the humans are even there

Half the reason I left the gym and got my power rack was because of the depressing dance sh*t they insisted on playing all the time.

On the hifi in the garage now is a near continuous loop of:

Twisted Sister
Iron Maiden
AC/DC
Slayer
Slipknot
Sepultura
Testament

and most importantly

Nuclear Assault.

I like rock when im working out, but rap can really pump me up before i hit the weights too:
Living Legends
Tupac (Hit em up!)
Metallica
AC/DC
Eminem
…and that song by 311 where they sing about riots and burning and causing chaos…yeah

Well, i stick w/ rap.

I am currently listening to these:

If I can’t Do it
Breathe In Breathe Out
Stunt 101
Trina Moe
Still Ballin
The Champ Is here
Till I collapse
Knuck if you buck
Let’s Go
Let Me IN
No Problem
What’s Happening (Method Man/Ying Yang Twins)
40 oz.
Many Men
Welcome To D-Block
Breathe
Bia Bia
Trouble
Game Over (Remix)
Get It on The Floor
Ruff Ryders Anthem
I’m a Soldier

…just some of what i’m listening to right now.

soundtrack from Les Miserables

I’ve got to have hard-pumpin’ house (ex. BadBoy Bill, Richard “Humpty” Vission, etc.).
