Got mine made the other day cost $100 all up. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet due to a pulled hamstring but i will be christening it tomorrow.
What is recommended to start off on gravel or road?
I’d do the road, the gravel might make your feet slip a lot.

Where’d you got one that cheap?

looks like he made it himself, I was planning on doing it, I had all the specs but just the metal would have cost me like 200 or so and I couldn’t even find 2" square tubing.

OK wow nice work; Im not that handy in the metal shop
Brother made it at his place of work from scrap metal. It didn’t cost me any cash, just a bottle of Oxy Elite pro fat burner to make, and a case of beer to get powder coated

My wife is afraid I’ll bring the HOA down on us cause it’s too loud scraping on the ground.

If there is anything the HOA thread in the ‘Get A Life’ section taught me, it is that the HOA will get you for anything at any point in time for any reason. So have fun!

why dont you guys put your car in N and push it???
Too easy
I would find this a little hard to believe if I hadn’t already done both. A prowler unloaded on grass is quite a bit harder than a half ton pickup. Throw 50lbs on the prowler and it’s not even close.
Oh and it’s not loud on the pavement, the only issue I would see and HOA having with it is that it “scuffs” the pavement, not so much a scratching/destroying anything effect.
Edit: Having weight on it while trying to push it up a wet grassy hill made it too tough to get any traction.
