My brother went to an Ivy League school. My sister went to MIT. I was recruited by Harvard. I am aware of the flaming liberal faculty and the rich boy students with liberal beliefs.

It’s the principle. We have to tolerate and accommodate the most intolerable, rigid, and uncompromising people on earth. Fuck them, if they want compromise, let them be the first. It’s not our fault they have crazy oppressive rules for women. We certainly shouldn’t accommodate and condone their oppressiveness of women.

Let them not forbid or punish women to work out in a public environment. Or, this is America after all, let them buy their own space and put a crazy, fucked up muslim women only gym for themselves. This is Harvard, these are not poor students, let them get a membership to Curves which is women only all day everyday. Here they can get their sweat on at any of these locations with out screwing with the Harvard community at large.

There’s also the advantage that 12 women can share a single Burka membership if they take turns showing up at the gym.

My bullet point opinions:

If students are paying mandatory gym fees through their tuition, which I did in college, this is fucking bullshit. If those women want accommodation, they can pay extra for it. As an excluded male, I’d also be raising fire and brimstone for a discount or refund from Harvard.
Is it really that fucking hard to find some baggy long-legged pants, a baggy long sleeved shirt, and a hood to lift in? You could pretty damn easily find clothing that could cover nearly every square inch of skin and also be used to train in.
Even if you couldn’t find the appropriate clothing, it’s not like you couldn’t possibly find a Curves or something in Boston.
If aggravates me a great deal when this small group of people have the gall to ask for everybody else to bend over backwards to accommodate them, when they could easily just make a little extra effort themselves! And then to have Harvard comply…
I’d be pretty fucking pissed off if I was in the middle of a session and was told that I had to leave immediately so that some women could exercise without fear of my unclean pig-eyes looking at them. Allah forbid that someone actually sees you when you voluntarily decide to go out in public!
If you’re that fucking pious, then stay your ass in a closet where nobody can see you! That’ll do it!

If you couldn’t tell, I’m pretty annoyed at the mere thought of being thrown out or denied entry to a gym to which I’ve paid money for access because some women demand that I cater to them!

Even at a private school like Harvard, I think if you’re forcing students to pay gym fees through mandatory tuition, then it’s all-or-none. If they want this type segregation, they can make gym fees voluntary.
