Women Against Going to the Gym

This one is most important. Even if they ask you a question, they are not really looking for the right answer. Get rid of them as quickly as possible and change the subject. Stupidity and ignorance now rule the world. You can’t fight all them…there are just too many.

I think some people are attracted to those who have qualities that they themselves would like to have but for some reason do not. Whether its intelligence, humor, or in this case work ethic, you show her how weak in body and character by doing what is very difficult. So in a sense, she is jealous of you.

Use language they can understand, such as :

“lifting weights make people more gooder at their sport. Having someone like me teach them makes them even more gooder.”

Even if she wasn’t flirting - what you can tell yourself to feel better for fumbling this one - a good flirt can turn any conversation into flirting.

Tell her you’ll have to get back to her because some girl just asked you to check out her form…and you want to give that girl your attention so she doesn’t hurt herself.

I have noticed it is generally a certain age range that seems to think I am ruining myself with lifting heavy.
Really? I’ve heard women shouldn’t lift heavy from guys of all ages. I complimented a guy in my age range on his OH squat and he told me not to try it because I’d end up looking like a man.
the women tend to think that if they lift anything over 8lbs their bones will snap clean off and thye can’t understand how I can possibly pick something up like that and I am sure to lead to back injury shrugs
or lead to you turning into a she beast.

*Scouter breaks

Two friends of mine visited recently. One of them is a Computer Science student with the need to discuss every new nuance of computer technology he learns/learned about. This was no problem.

I am a health sciences/exercise science student. If I brought up ANYTHING about lifting or sports performance, both of these fellows would alienate themselves from the conversation and crack a joke about my training or how they think it is narcissistic, or the fact that they think “endeavors of the mind” last longer than physical achievement, so physical development is a waist of time.

Pffft.

How do your splurt while texting? I mean I do it all the time in online chats, but texting? Someone could lose an eye.

Also, when you ask girls what big muscles are and what a good body is, they usually point to David Beckham or Brad Pitt, which just spins me into a dimension of pissed off that’s very unpleasant.

That’s hilarious considering your avatar.
Tyler Durden is badass, Fight Club was a great flick. Still don’t think his body looked good …
