Witty Title No.69

Last month, I used some crazy grips during warm ups for presses. Ultra wide, over and underhanded, ultra narrow over and under handed, whatever. Then we I would reach up for a “real” set my hands kind of naturally went where they wanted.

Musta done something yesterday, but for the life of me can’t remember what.

Rushed day today so:

Deadlifts, worked up to 140kg for 10 singles.

Back day, copied from memory from a Paul Carter routine:

Squats:
5 x 65kg, 75kg, 85kg

Yates Rows: 4 x 8 @ 50kg

Very wide grip lat pulldown: 4 x 8

Cable rows: one rest pause set

Bicep curl/battling rope superset.

I did “push” day again yesterday, plus some squats. Can’t remember for the life of me what I did apart from Z presses behind the neck in the smiths machine. These felt killer, but hurt something in my back. I’ll try these again with a proper upper back warmup first at some point.
