my boy is in my avatar, although it’s not an accurate depiction of his size it captures his personality nicely.
he’s old now, going through some some kidney stuff, just hoping i have more time w/ him…i’d snuff a person out for my dog, i like more than…well if you love your dog than you know.
at age 5 he was 31in at the shoulders and 135lbs of lean muscle, a very big German Shepherd. He bites too, got his SCH I title around that time. Best dog, clown prince and gentle with kids, friend, family, flip a switch however and he’s all heart. he’d likely kill an intruder.
i got jumped back in my college days when he was a young dog (friends w/ the officers at the time so i later saw the report), he broke the one guy’s arm (3 guys total involved) in three places, ulna in two spots and the radius as well, i reacted and pulled the leash instead of telling my dog to Aus/let go, he peeled the guy’s arm like a banana, it was nuts.
if it sounds like i’m bragging, i am, the guys were drunk frat fucks who had thrown a glass bottle which broke at our feet, words were exchange, a fight began, my dog reacted. why you’d pick a fight with a guy holding an aggressively barking 130lb shepherd is beyond me.

So here’s the real picture of Neely, who’s also an english mastiff, but not yet the size of the one in the first photo - although Neely’s dad was 255 pounds, so he’s got a chance I suppose lol.
Have no clue what kinda dog she is. My ex found out she was being abused took and dropped it off with me to find a good home for her. She has been with us for about a month now. A funny thing happened along the way to finding her a good home, she’s in one right now. With those ears and jet black fur she reminds me of a bat.
