Solid session on the whole mate if I’m being honest.
Everything felt tip top. I tried to train yesterday…but I was a bit heat stroked haha. I warmed up for squats but the power wasn’t there so I put it away and trained today instead. Glad I did. Managed two extra reps on the second set of bench over last time, and a rep PB on the squats also.
I may have been able to squeeze out One more rep on the squat…I’m getting better at repping the weight though. Inching closer to that 20 rep goal lol. A bit ambitious of me, but eh, goals are meant to be difficult.

Just layering the volume on these. Too much too soon and it would render my hamstrings useless for a week. Added a rep to each warmup set, and 0.5kg to the workset.
Just the 1kg added to the rows on both sets.
Got an extra rep on the squat Amrap, might have gotten 1 more also…cramping was getting silly in the shoulders/arms and whatnot. But I’m getting better at putting up with that.
Finally added an extra rep to bench! Then equalled the reps on the second set.
So I guess I’m starting to switch over and adapt to the higher volume sets, which is cool. Really enjoying chasing them down each session. And spreading the sessions out to about 2 a week, or 5 per fortnight is meaning that I’m almost 100% recovered for every session, meaning I can travel closer to the failure line every set.

Great session to be honest. Felt a little bit of lower back fatigue from the 10’s of thousands of steps completed this week (probably 10000 of them carrying me duffle bag and laptop…). Took a bit to warm it up before Press, and gave a small in confidence with that lift, but I was still able to make the minimum reps.
Deadlifts felt GREAT. Really good. Infact the first muscle to give in and cause failure was the hammies. Entire back and grip could have just kept going. Lol. Good things coming.

Shouldn’t have trained today. Was Not recovered from the silly deadlifts two days ago. Thought I was… hamstrings and glutes didn’t get the memo. Felt it hard in the ham curls too…
Bench was mostly ok. Maybe a slight bit harder than it needed to be also, but I equalled last week’s effort so not all bad. Rows were difficult also. Haha.
Travelling again for work all day tomorrow and didn’t want to rely on being okay to go at it. Also didn’t want to wait until Wednesday incase Tomorrow impeded the readiness also. So I’ll cop the slightly lesser session. Will wait until Friday to Deadlift.
One day on, threw off, seems like is the sweet spot.
