I want to make sure I understand this once and for all. If I want to dissolve 5 grams of powdered steroid in everclear and make a 20mg/ml solution, can I just add the steroid into 250 ml of everclear or must I take into account the solubility of the steroid in everlear?
5 grams divided by 20 mg/mL = 250 ml so your figure is correct.
The part about taking solubility into account
is to not try to put in more Winstrol than
can dissolve.
I really need to go look up the solubility
in alcohol again, since a lot of people
seem interested and I am not 100% certain
of my recollection of 25 mg/mL (would
be slightly less in 190 proof.)
what is “everclear”? where is the info on how to make these solutions? thanks.
Too much, everclear is a brand of hard liquer that is 95% ethanol and to the best of my knowledge you can make these solutions by just pouring the powder into the solvent(in this case everclear). If anyone knows this to be incorrect please let me know!
Bill, would an old container of saline solution be a good container for this solution? And do they make 250 ml sizes?
Any container that you’d be happy to drink out
of and can be sealed closed is suitable.
Many bottles of supplements which are liquids
are close to 250 mL, with a nominal value of
240 mL. If filled a little higher than the
level that the originally product had, you’d
have around 250 mL and not much more or less
if you erred. For example, an Androsol or
Methoxy-7 bottle is the right size.
