Winstrol Confusion

Hi !

I am 6 feet 1 and weigh around 190 pounds with 20 % bf. I have been trying to get some sembelence of being lean and have a six pack even if for a while but have been unable to do so till now. I used clenbuterol and it did make me lose a bit of fat but I work in a very very high stress work environment and sometimes not working out and eating junk is the only way I can go to avoid getting burnt out. I have tried everything from 6 meals a day to morning cardio to ephedrine and clen. The ephedrine works fine and the morning cardio is also cool but my good friend said yesterday I should do Winstrol ONLY to get the look I so desire. I am a chicken when it comes to stuff like steroids. He says Winstrol will make no hair loss, no balls shrinkage and acne etc. I want to believe him because he is a nice guy and he doesnt have a reason to lie to me. My questions thus are:

1 - is a Winstrol only cycle any good.
2 - will it cause the effects I want (leaner, ripped)
3 - Hair loss, balls problems etc etc?
4 - I would rather use clen. Any input on that ?

Winstrol will not really help you much in the way of fat loss, it will help you retain or possibly gain some lean body mass while dieting and working out. It is not a fat burner.

Your better off getting your diet strait and being consistent in training since you stated that you had not been doing so.

alrighty, first off, the top paragraph i edited to show that the two main reasons that you cannot get ripped or stay ripped. junk food is definately out and stress management would result in the most results, both physically and psychologically. in one of his first articles on t-mag called periodization that works, charles staley pointed out that “what is foundational to someone else isn’t necessarily foundational for you. for example, if you can’t afford to eat properly, then getting a better paying job would be the first phase of your periodization program.” the largest gap you seem to have is stress and junk food (you claim that the junk food helps you deal with the stress, but in reality it just ‘drugs’ you out. you are trying to shut off the stress, but with the crappy food, you are feeding it. this is no different from people needing a smoke, you are just ignoring a signal from your body and substituting with a drug, in this case food, some people use caffeine, ephedra, etc., same thing in the end, the body is left weaker than before to respond to future stress.)

as for the answer to your questions:

  1. yes and no. it really depends on how you react to the compound. everyone is different, some get bad joint pain on winny only.

  2. maybe, but nutrition is still the biggest factor. i have seen many non-using athletes (read people i train) get more results both in appearance and lifts than those who used and did not eat well (also trained by me, but i drop these people as soon as possible, i only work with those who are committed to success).

  3. yes and no again. i have no issue with hair loss even using test, but some people will start losing hair right away as this natural process is already far more advanced due mostly to genetics and lifestyle factors. your lifestyle factors are poor (i am not insulting or trying to be condescending, but you pointed out that you are under high stress and eat a lot of junk). as for shutdown of natural production, while winny is quite mild and shutdown reverses quickly when it is withdrawn as long as the dosage was not too high or the duration of use too long. by the way, the less stress you are under and the better you eat, the more results you get from steroids and the quicker you recover. use of clomid during a short winny cycle or near the end of a longer one will help alot with natural production.

  4. this is a bad idea. i only recomend clen for people who have to get contest ripped. a much better option for you is to go the legal route and i would recomend a stack of HOT-ROX, Alpha Male, M, ZMA, as well as fish oil in addition to a good diet (this does not have to be hypocaloric, in fact i prefer to have people eat at or slightly above maintenance while performing sprint work in addition to weight training. 2 or 3 20-30 min sessions are more than enough, i go with about a 1:3 work to rest ratio with my elite athletes and around 1:5 with rookies and keep their volume lower while focusing on good running form).

i realize some of these answers are not the ones you were asking for, but i truly believe that you need to get your other stuff in order before using illicit drugs. not to mention the fact that in your current state, results will be compromised by said stress and junk food. i think really that this is about what works the best, not what works for someone else. think of steroids as a time leverage, if you do everything right, results come fast as everything is multiplied, but if you are not right on ,perhaps it is negatives that are magnified more than the positive aspects.

My recomendation is that you read all the Berardi articles to get a grasp of what proper nutrition entails and seek out ways to lower your stress levels.

No steroid will get you ripped or help you lose fat…period.

The reason why most people use Winny during a “cutting phase” or while dieting is because of it’s anabolic properties. Unlike androgens, Winny will not cause you to retain water, accumulate fat (because it doesn’t convert to estrogen), or mess with your HPT axis as, persay, testosterone would.

Dieting and cardio are the only way to go if you want to “rip up”.

It really amazes me at how many people look to winstrol as this incredible drug that will provide you w/ the best of everything. Ever since ben johnson was ripped of his metal for testing + 4 winstrol (which was bullshit), the public has gone crazy 4 it. It’s especially popular amongst models, and athletes from all sports. I personally can’t stand winstrol. I’m only in my 20’s and it still plays havoc on my joints. I’d choose 30mg anavar over 50mg winstrol any day. The only scenario that winstrol would be a viable option is if you’re pre-contest and are going w/ a cocktail of drugs 4 each one’s individual advantages, and the other would be for someone wanting to avoid mpb and aromatization. Even in this case, I’d add Deca to it.

At Costco 10 lbs of Pro-Rated Whey Protien is $18. You can get 10 cans of water packed tuna for $6 and a week’s worth of frozen broccoli for $4. You can usually find bulk apples for $3 for 10 lbs. I can always find eggs for under a $1 a dozen, sometimes $0.69. A huge bottle of fish oil caps is $18.

Even with no cardio, just weights and those foods with weights and sleep you should be able to get down to 12% in a couple months. Then start zig-zaging up with a real test based cycles. Go for 60g of protien and few fish oil caps 6 times a day. Have an apple with your first three meals and broccoli with your second three. It’s cheap, it’s simple, it works, and anyone can do it for a few weeks at a time. I’m 48 and even without steroids I gained some muscle and lost fat on this type of diet.

Let the control you learn from dieting and bodybuilding be a metaphor for learning to deal with strees without junk food.

winny is usually used at the end of most cycles because it supposedly helps people keep thier gains…i kinda doubt this though but it is short estered and you can ease your way off other drugs then immediately go to pct after use
