I just saw Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan in concert. I’ve seen Nelson serveral times but it was a first for Dylan. I was a little disappointed in Willie’s performance. He tended to do a hit parade and rushed through most of it. It was my least favorite performance of his. However Dylan was quite a surprise. The band behind him absolutely rocked. I never heard the opening number but they came out with all guns blazing. It set the mood for the rest of the show which was just fantastic. I was familiar with 75% of the material which certainly helps as Bob frequently is hard to understand but this night you actually could hear him quite well. If anyone is a fan I would certainly recommend going to see these guys.
