Will you build muscle on low rep high sets

Program replication that include chin ups my favorite exercise

Anything that can help me out I am happy to do just say the word

And no i don’t do any conditioning work

what weight are you using?

how much do you ohp for 5 reps?

This is, 100%, the most immediate thing you can start doing to start seeing progress. Conditioning allows you to train harder AND recover better from training, which doubly perpetuates awesomeness.

For books to read, I am a big fan of

Purposeful Primitive by Marty Gallagher
The Complete Keys to Progress by John McCallum
Powerlifting Basics Texas Style by Paul Kelso
5/3/1 Forever by Jim Wendler
Brawn by Stuart McRobert
Super Squats by Randall Strossen
Mass Made Simple by Dan John
The Easy Strength Omnibook by Dan John

There are many other great ones out there as well, but those are a solid start

For authors to read from T-nation, read as many of these articles as you can

Here are some other choice ones

You can’t cheat depth on box squats. And if you set the box a little low you can train yourself to squat deeper.

Dan John says they have the “wtf” effect too… I love hvy swings

They definitely do - the 10K swing challenge proved that over and over again.
I have found I am making tremendous progress at home right now with a couple kettlebells, a couple sandbags, and a set of gymnast rings…it doesn’t take much when used properly.

100 ! I have a 124 kb. 50 swings a day for 50 days = new look to your physique. And I love my rings. Weighted dips on those are killer

Challenge was the right name for this! It got pretty hard pretty quick! My conditioning for it improved very rapidly, though.

My dumb @ss is thinking I should it do it again post M3 for a change of pace…

If you want a REAL dumb idea, combine it with Mass Made Simple. Do the MMS workouts on the workout days, then the 10k swing challenge days on the recharge and rest days. For the recharge day, mix it in with bodyweight work. For the rest day, just do the swings and call it good.

Not surprising at all, haha. It’s not even close to my “full” library, but those are some great ones to start with. I’m sure you’ve got an extensive list.

Yep somewhere around my home.

On the kettlebell note, I’m a fan of the KettleBud plate loaded kettlebell.

It’s really only good at one thing, swings, but does it well. Unlike the T-bar designs, you can do them one or two handed. They claim it can hold up to 180 pounds; I’ve gotten a pair of 45s and a 25 on mine.

Although it seems like the olympic sized one is no longer available on Amazon.

Anyway, if you can find one, I do recommend it. It’s nice to basically have any weight increment you want.

I’m a fan of CT fletcher not how he trains but how crazy and motivational he is

When I don’t feel like going gym, I hear CT saying fuck average are you a beast or bitch
